Prafulla Chandra College review

What I Liked

I like the professors, they explain each and every thing clearly.
The auditorium is fully Air-conditioned and clean.

What I didn’t like

I don't like the size of the campus, it's very small to be called a campus.

Placement Experience:

There are no placements provided by the college. After completing the course, I'll be applying for the CDS exam. It's my dream to get in the Indian Army and serve for the country. After clearing the exam there will be a 36 months training.

An evening of three years

What I Liked

I like that out college does not have any bullying or ragging, our seniors are very good and caring and help students out with any problems they have. Our faculty is also very supportive and Frank with their students about studies, life, everything, it never feels as if someone is trying to put you down or make fun of you for something you did or said.
The college has very big airy classrooms, perfect for a hot summer day.

Placement Experience:

Our college does invite companies to have seminars with the students to get them knowledge about work, work experience, work atmosphere everything. In terms of providing internships or placements, our college doesn't provide them, I believe. We recently had a seminar conducted by TCS. I will be taking competitive exams for government jobs, so I'll be preparing for that after my course is over.

All about my college

What I Liked

The campus was cool with a unique infrastructure.
Faculty there was quite helpful in every possible way.

What I didn’t like

There was no sports area available in the college.
We needed to queue up for long for form submissions.

Placement Experience:

I was busy pursuing a CMA course so I didn't get any placement from my college and also that time Corona was everywhere. But my friends got placement from the college with a package of 2 lakh per annum.

Prafulla Chandra College [ Evening Section Of City College South City Branch ]

What I Liked

College Seniors : They are really supportive and encouraging and they give push to do something more apart study.
College office staff : If you have scholarship or any form submission or website issues the college office staff is faster and solution driven people and very cooperative behaviour.

What I didn’t like

Library : there should be more subject book s available for different authors as now only few subject we can get.
Placements and internship : There should be some companies that offer placements and internship to the students so that the poor students can have some monetary support as they pass out and so the college will be more popular.

Placement Experience:

There are not very often placements and internship opportunities in this college and if someone is Jio came for an internship this is only what I heard. As there are no placement and internship opportunities students have to go for off-campus or professional courses.

Internships Opportunities:

No, I haven't opted for any internship as I will be doing my articles as I am pursuing a CA course. You will get projects On Some semesters which will be guided by your concerned teacher and it will be done easily through the internet and your understanding.

Aspire to Achieve

What I Liked

Big infrastructure and facilities with good environment
Great canteen with quite reasonable food items

What I didn’t like

The washrooms needs to be well maintained
The student teacher interaction should be improved

Placement Experience:

The college provides decent placements to its students many good companies visit here where students can sit and apply for their job roles during their bachelor's curriculum. Skills are very important for placements.

Internships Opportunities:

Well, the college doesn't provide any internship opportunities but if a student wants to do an internship then they can easily take it from outside but most importantly they have to inform the college authorities.

My college Experience.

What I Liked

The campus life is enjoyable and college infrasture is also better than most of the government colleges

What I didn’t like

Teaching style of faculty is not as expected.

Internships Opportunities:

I do have not any internship from my college yet as I am in 3rd term right now and there is no provision in our Calcutta University for an internship for b.com students in 3rd term they give the chance to have an internship in the 5th term onwards
