Recently, companies have started coming for recruitments that include companies like L&T, Asian Paints, TCES, Aparna Kaushik, Jacobs etc. Some students also plan on opening their own firms or joining masters courses.

the percentage of students getting placed is average but the college has having high certificate value. the average placement salary annually is 6LPA my plan after getting a degree is to get a master's in transportation planning.

You'll have to search for a job, there is no recruitment program in the college, in fact architecture college doesn't have any recruitment programs I guess. But if you are in SPA you'll get a job. I don't know about the average package, highest package, etc. but don't expect a hefty in-hand salary at first because architects are not well paid in India. You can apply for Jobs in foreign, and you can also get one, but your portfolio should be amazing, like very good. Based on your work, you'll get paid.

There are placements but mostly we apply on our own and we make our architectural portfolio and apply it to architectural firms. I plan to practice for 2 years and then go for masters and I would like to do interesting designs.

There are various opportunities coming up with Systra, L&t, Asian paints and tata. But maybe 20 people from a batch of 100 have the opportunity to get placed right after graduation.a lot of people in the field choose to practice or freelance usually.
