Read Full ReviewThe curriculum is set by SPPU. It sometimes does feel outdated and overly bookish rather than practical and focuses more on rote learning and writing long answers rather than the actual content. SPPU is also notoriously famous for not giving marks, the topper in the university only getting 70-72%
ILS in itself has a pretty good reputation with a list of prestigious alumni. It is also a good college if you want corporate placements. While the admission process is under the MHCET, it is not too tedious. The mode of MHCET is online in an exam center. The cut off differs year to year but ranges between 90-110 (general catergory, first list)

The college has been operating for a 10pyrs now and has had quite a good reputation that I've heard from many lawyers both within and outside Pune. As expected from any law college, ILS provides a lot of resources and support to students for placements and competitions. For admission, you simply need to take the MHCET BALLB or MHCET LLB exam and score above at least 205.

Many tier 1 firms offer their best placements to the ILS students like Trilegal, Khaitan, Luthra Luthra, etc. They offer a high package to the students starting from 17 lakhs per annum. Last year the highest was 24 lakhs per annum. Not only tier 1 but other firms also recruit our students, the average students also get placement with packages like 7-10 lakhs per annum.Out of a total number of students 50-60% get placed in the course. I am not going to apply for the placement as I will be opting for the judicial service exam.
It is one of the top colleges for Law in India. With its beautiful campus and cooperative administration it also has an exclusive placements record. It comes under Savitribai Phule Pune University(not an autonomous). The tier 1 firms in India consider it equivalent to the top 5 National Law Universities for the placement. To get admission here, you have to take the exam named MhCET Law. There are two types in this, one is for 5 years course and second for 3 years. There is no interview before admission but all the mentioned documents are strictly checked.

I got admission through the entrance exam, and this college is the best LA3 college in entries Pune so I chose it for my course. Also, the environment here is good, even the faculty and quality of study that the college provides is top notch. The seniors of my college are also very helpful, and the foremost important thing, they are easily accessible to anyone and are ready to help the juniors. The college is surrounded by lust green forests all around and is also having its mountain peak behind, which is quite relaxing at times. Moreover, my experience in the college is going quite well, but there is scope for improvement in the teaching methods being adopted by the teachers.
