The college infrastructure is pretty well with a beautiful campus which have an administrative building, academic building, ladies and gents hostel, mess, separate parking area, playgrounds, indoor games facilities, Gym, Library, canteen and last but not the least the beautiful greenery.
-
The faculty of ILS Law College are highly qualified and well experienced. Apart from very good teaching skills, they have very good relations with their students. The student teacher interaction is very nice here which is further strengthened by various cells and intra college events, activities and competitions.
What I didn’t like
-
The college has a very high reputation all over India but recently it is getting harmed due to some nuisance and inappropriate activities of students.
-
Sometimes there is a shortage of classrooms for some exams and events in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview: I am currently enrolled in the BA LLB course. I chose it because I wanted to pursue law just after the completion of my 12th class. All the faculties are highly qualified, and most of them are PhD scholars. The teaching method of most of them is very interactive and friendly. Earlier (for the last 2 years), the term exams of the 1st and 2nd years were not as per the time due to some issues, but from this year they are scheduled with proper management. They are conducted by the university only, except for the 1st year. The difficulty level is moderate for the average student, and if you are good at studies, then they are easy. The fees are very convenient, i.e., INR 40k (for Maharashtra general candidate), and it is 55k for the gentleman's hostel and 2-2.5 lakhs for the lady's hostel, which is provided by the college.

The fees have been constant for many years, and there is no hike in them. It provides several government scholarships for the college as well as hostel students.

Internship Opportunities: I am currently in my second year, and I have completed two virtual internships. I got them personally and not through college. The college has an internship cell, which provides you with various internship opportunities once you register there. It provides internships at tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 law firms. Apart from these, the Legal Aid Center of ILS Law College also provides internship opportunities to students. Many of the offered internships are paid, while some are unpaid also.

Placement Experience: ILS has an excellent record for placement. You can register even in your 4th year for the placement or pre-placement. Many Tier 1 firms offer their best placements to ILS students, like Trilegal, Khaitan, Luthra Luthra, etc. They offer a high package to the students, starting from 17 lakhs per annum. Last year the highest was 24 lakhs per annum. Not only Tier 1, but other firms also recruit our students; the average student also gets placement with packages like 7-10 lakhs per annum. Out of a total number of students, 50–60% get placed in the course. I am not going to apply for the placement as I will be opting for the judicial service exam.

The college has many cells in it, like the Moot Court Society, Marathi and English debating societies, hariyali cell, dance club, cultural club, and official band group of the college, and many more. I didn't opt for the college hostel as the fees are very high, but there are many PGs in the nearby area.
