Placement Experience:

30 percent of the batch gets placed, anywhere between 9 lap - 40 lpa can be secured. CAM, SAM, Trilegal all tier 1 firms recruit. My plan after getting degree is getting into corporate law and joining a tier 1 firm.

Remarks:

I chose this college because of its global reputation, the campus life is particularly amazing and the test we had to give was LNAT it typically has a higher cut off but for jgls it has a cut off of 15 marks

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good. All top law firms visit the campus for placements in penultimate year. Students can register with the OCS department for internship and placement opportunities. Needless to say Jindal global law School has established its reputation among top hirers as a top level institution nurturing quality students.

Remarks:

Candidates are required to appear for LSAT exam through which they get admission in different colleges based on their scores. I chose this college due to expose and quality of education which it offers.

Placement Experience:

They get you internships through superset and have a career services office in the campus with a whole form which they provide you for the type of internship you want and what you want to do. They provide internships even at the top law firms in India and have the best placement statistics.

Remarks:

I gave the LSAT-India test which has now been changed to LNAT-UK and admission is over 80 percentile The name and ranking of the college in law made me choose it specially due to their academics and the facilities and opportunities that they provide.

Placement Experience:

Placement are done both through campus placements and internships. If one is fortunate enough he may make it through campus placements where all the top law firms and few other companies like ey and ICICI bank come for recruitment. If not through placements then in the last semester the office of career services(OCS) offers a lot of assessment internships and after the student has completed the internship the OCS takes the follow up from the firms and vouch for placement of the student. A lot of people have got placed through assessment internships.

Remarks:

JGLS has best resources in terms of faculty, campus and placements, although compared to batch size placement’s are low but they easily get atleast 200 students placed. I appeared for LSAT in order to secure a seat.

There are no placement for my course, my plana after graduating is to give clat or any other competitive exams which can get me into 3 year LLB program and would like to pursue a career in litigaton or do MBA from renouned buisness school abroad and settle there itself.

Remarks:

The only reasons I chose this college is because is was closer to my hometown so I could come back on weekends and this course I choose is because it is a 3 year course and will let me explore other options if I loose my interest in pursuing Law

Placement Experience:

I think that To appear for placements, you must not have any backlogs, and top recruiters like Pap and Cyril sit for placements. The highest package I think was about 20 lpa and the average being 15. The percentage of students getting placements is 30 percent.

Remarks:

Op Jindal Global University is ranked as the best college in law in Asia and the rank of the same in law is 70 all across the world. This is as per QS world rankings which is widely recognized in the world. It also has dual degree courses with top colleges such as Kings College London etc. Had to only write the last India test and need to get over 60 percentile for qualification and to be eligible to get into the college. I got 87 percentile.

Placement Experience:

To be eligible for placements you need to be a part of this college irrespective of your year. Many companies recruit internships some of which are tri legal and many other first-tier companies along with different NGOs. Paid internships are very less likely to be offered to Student in the first and second year but from the third year, students do find paid internships. I have just entered the third year so I will be able to get a brief idea for the same. It has been recorded that 100 percent of the students get a placement offer. My plan after taking the degree is to give exam for judiciary and be a judge.

Remarks:

I always wanted to be a law student and many of family of my family members had taken this path so I chose to do the same. We faced a test called LSAT(Law School Admission Test). People who passed this test based on percentile got a letter for admission from the college.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for placements is that the student should not have any suspension throughout the course or getting debarred also affects these opportunities to get placed. Students should have good grades starting from the very first semester till the end, they should have done moot courts and debates and joined some society in the college. A minimum of 9 internships should be done and some good practical experience and skills. At the time of offers, they should have a good updated CV and give good interviews. A few visited recruiters are Az and b partners, Khaitan and co, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Trilegal. The number of offers by the firms is around 100-150 every year. The average package is around 12 lpa and the highest package is around 15-16 lpa. Since 50% of students go for further studies and don't meet the eligibility criteria. Less than 40% of students are placed. After getting this degree, I plan to work in a top law firm in the country and do either MBA/LLM from abroad.

Remarks:

The faculty, curriculum and facilities are very well compared to what the other universities are providing. The residential facilities are also very well maintained and provided. But of course, it is slightly more expensive than other law colleges. The campus has a bit of a drug culture for sure. The university is also strict regarding its attendance requirements and we have to maintain at least 70% attendance aggregate in all subjects. University has a very large population of students which is not good. For admission, Jindal takes the LSAT percentile score and the cutoff is generally 60. To prepare for it, I would recommend you solve LSAT's previous year's question papers and the sample papers they provide on their website and purchase any question papers. I got 96.19 percentile and got a good amount of scholarship by doing this and I believe approx 21 days to 1 month would be more than enough. There is no Group discussion or interview conducted by Jindal.
