What I Liked

The thing I like the most about my college is that the college is very old like about of 65 years. The experience matters in the medical field. The campus is pretty good. Faculties are best expected and teaching wise. They will help you out in everything. There are various extracurricular activities which maintain the social life of students. There are various clubs and that's why we can persue our hobbies also. Seniors, staff, everyone is helpful..and the campus have the joyous environment. The studious environment is also there which help me to concentrate on my studies.
The college library is there. The environment is truly very good.

What I didn’t like

The thing I dislike about the college is..they don't take the postings of some departments regularly..not all but there are some departments.
Also the capacity of college library is very limited and that's somehow problematic.

Placement Experience:

After the 4 and a half years of main course, we have to complete our one year internship. The internship is compulsory for MBBS students and which has to be completed in the hospital which is attached to the college. Each student must complete the internship. After that we get the very good job opportunity and placements in India. After MBBS, you can peruse the job in urban as well as in rural areas. You can also have your own private setup or can also work in private setup. Internship is paid in which you get like 20 thousand per month. And when you peruse the job you can yet up to 1 lakh per month. After completing the course, you can also apply for NEET PG exam by which you can peruse post graduation.

Remarks:

I gave NEET exam because I wanted to pursue my career in medical field. After the examination, I was selected by the government medical college of Satara...but that college was new. So I attended second round in which I got Vmgmc Solapur which is the current college in which I'm perusing MBBSs. The college was established in 1965 so it's pretty old which is the very good thing in aspects of medical colleges. So I decided to take admission in this college and I also heard lot about it like it has a very good ranking among the medical colleges of Maharashtra. The hospital which is attached to it also has very good patient flow which is important for the medical practice. Teaching staff, practical's, postings, events, workshops everything is pretty good. These were the all aspects because of which I selected this college.

What I Liked

There is large ground and campus avialable
Atmosphere here is fully supportive for studies

What I didn’t like

College is 3.5 km away from hostel, which makes it mandatory to own a bike at later stages.
Campus infrastructure is not that great. Its an old infrastructure and some lack of facilitates are there.

Placement Experience:

As this is a Government medical setup so there is no issue of the internship and the placemenets. You can directly apply for a medical officer post after completing your MBBS and there are lots of opportunities.

Remarks:

Factors that made me choose this college was that, Im a rajasthan domicile student and i was getting recently opened medical college that's why i preferred old medical college in maharashtra which can give me State quota for PG

What I Liked

I like campus of our college total 3 blocks in hospital
Faculty are strict but helpfull in doubt solving

Placement Experience:

After completing the MBBS course internship provided by the hospital and the stipend given. After the internship, we should prepare for new PG and also medical officers in hospitals like CHC (community health center)

Remarks:

I give NEET UG exam in 2022 and I scored 607 marks out of 720 then I was eligible for counseling and through all India quota counseling mop round I chose this college because the infrastructure of this college is so good and this is an old medical college so overall academics are so nice
