  • 85% State Quota: Maharashtra CET Cell allots these seats to Maharashtra domicile candidates
  • Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with at least 50% aggregate marks, or 45% for SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates

MD / MS (Postgraduate)

MD and MS seats are filled through NEET PG. MCC conducts counselling for 50% All India Quota seats, and the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra, handles 50% state quota seats.

  • Eligibility: MBBS from an NMC-recognised institution and completion of compulsory rotating internship
  • For MD courses at GMC Nagpur, the NEET PG General Category closing rank has ranged from 357 to 1,97,035, depending on the discipline
  • Competitive branches such as Radio-Diagnosis usually attract candidates with top ranks

DM / M.Ch (Super-specialty)

Admission to DM and M.Ch courses is through NEET SS. Applicants must have an MD or MS degree in the required parent specialty. MCC manages AIQ counselling for these seats at GMC Nagpur.

Maharashtra CET Cell conducts admission for B.Sc Nursing and Physiotherapy. B.Sc Nursing needs NEET UG scores under the revised NMC and INC norms. BPT and BOT admissions may follow merit-based state-level processes.
