Tripura Medical College

What I Liked

The environment it provides for both study and activities.
The faculties are one of the best in the state.

What I didn’t like

The hygeine is not maintained in terms of hostel and mess.
The sports department can be advanced a bit with newer equipments.

Placement Experience:

One year of mandatory internship under the hospital associated with our college. It provides a salary of almost 14,500 per month. We need to perform internships in various clinical departments. Thus we can practice our practical skills.

Remarks:

I need to appear for the NEET examination and went through state counseling under the Medical Council of Tripura. Then a list was published that included the selected students and after paying the college fees I got admission.

Tripura Mediacal College - A Good One!

What I Liked

I like the college campus. It is small but beautiful. Garden is there and lots of flowers are there which makes it look more beautiful
College life is good. The hostel enjoyment with friends is overwhelming.

What I didn’t like

The faculty is average. Needs to improve a little bit more.
The infrastructure is good but it can be better with better equipments.

Placement Experience:

One have to clear the final exam of 4th year to get the degree of mbbs. And then have to do internship in the hospital for 1 year. There is neet PG for higher studies. Placement is good and students are getting good placements every year.

Remarks:

Good infrastructure. I got to this college through neet counseling. In the 1st neet UG counseling, I got seat. It is a good college with good faculties and good support staffs. The campus is also good.

Review of Tripura medical College

What I Liked

All the facilities available in my college I like it....But mostly faculty and infrastructure I liked.
Also the campus is also good.Hostel facility is good with quality food.

What I didn’t like

The thing I only dislike is lack of sports events and lack of swimming pool.

Placement Experience:

As mbbs a professional course,no need to mention about placement....It is very very good course for settlement in future.... However,good placement is available in our college also.So it's definitely a worthy course.

Remarks:

Admission process selection by Neet UG exam. Cut off(Minimum:50 percentage) Good faculty of all departments Teaching by quality professor Library and classroom facility High yield technology to determine different types of diagnosis of diseases....

What I Liked

Infrastructure is ok Faculties are good Campus have playground and auditorium

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure is ok All other things are bit old but ok

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is neet passing Admission according to merits Package after finishing degree is different in public and private sector Almost every one gets placement My plan is getting higher edducation

Remarks:

For studying mbbs and then going for higher education in the college. For good education For faculties who are well qualified Especially in medicine Cutofff for general students is higher rest is according to pass marks Good aspect is moderate patients load location in clean environment and well equipped with requisite facilities of water electricity playgrounds auditoriam etc etc

Reviewing my own college - TMC

What I Liked

For the people of tripura it's a dream college for many , Many eminent doctors who are practicing medicine in the state are from TMC
It is the only medical College in Tripura where you will get a campus unlike AGMC, a playground to play cricket or football during leisure hours is a major attraction for students of our college

What I didn’t like

One thing I mostly hate is the mess food, the quantity and quality of food should have to be upgraded
Another one I can say is the busy schedule, a student barely gets any time to chill and relax there is always a constant pressure academically

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing MBBS was always my passion since my childhood and TMC has fulfilled my promises , faculties here are so well versed in their respective fields , smart board teaching with projectors are there in every class there are 3 trimester exam held in every year with a year ending University examination conducted by TRIPURA University and you have to pass those exams with adequate amount of attendance to get qualified for next professional year , for economically weaker people there are some certain scholarships which they will be benefited, Earlier during my admission the fee for the complete course is 54 lacs now it is 68 lac in 2023/24

Remarks:

The tripura medical College is a well known medical College in the premises of hapania Agartala, infrastructure is so good and the level of education is also of national standard , If I say about the bad aspects it would hardly count any, some faculty shortage is there and otherwise academically it's a good place to train yourself in medicine You have to get admission by clearing NEET UG, held every year and the cut off is fluctuating also, if you score around 450-470 you can surely get the admission

My college Tmc

What I Liked

The college infrastructure is very good which includes fully equipped labs for each department , large central library and digital labs .
The college faculties are very supportive and helpful.

What I didn’t like

The hostel bathroom is very unhygienic and the hostel is not very clean.
The mess food is not good and healthy to eat .

Placement Experience:

The college usually does not provide any placement but after completing the opportunities are immense. You can take a job in a private or government hospital and serve as a junior doctor or as a medical officer with descent salary. As for me after completing this course I plan to study for higher medical education like MD and MS .

Remarks:

For taking admission in this college I gave the NEET UG exam 2022 after completing my 12 th board exams . After I qualified in the NEET exam I registered in the DME Tripura website and in the choise filling section I gave the name of this college. A few days later allotment list was published and I was allocated this college. I chose this college because it provides quality medical education and it is closer to my home .

Tripura Medical College

What I Liked

The college infrastructure provides the best and advanced equipments.
The library has a good collection of books for every subject.

What I didn’t like

The hostel and mess foods are less of hygeine and taste.
The washrooms are mostly the non hygeine places.

Placement Experience:

The college provides one year mandatory internship under the hospital associated with it and a stipend of 14,500 per month along with which one can apply for nursing homes. After getting the medical certificate one can apply for medical officer jobs.

Remarks:

I heard about this college when I was preparing for my medical entrance examination that is NEET. After scoring the cutoff marks for this college through state counselling I applied for this college and took admission.
