Eligible criteria is 6 or above 6 cgpa. Not so good compliments about campus placements in bgsit. Till now only 3 company has arrived for campus recruitment. Still college has to improve the placement process which helps to rural areas students

Placements are not too good but average. There shouldn't be any backlogs and there should be minimum cgpa of 7 and above and ntt data, vodeyoung and accolite such company came and recruited some freshers. I'm planing myself to get recruit in reputed company.

Placement and job opportunity is not assured for everyone. The eligibility criteria for placement depends differently on the company that visits, few company asks for cgpa above 6, few asks for students with no backlog history, and few focuses on branch. There is no eligibility criteria, like you can apply for drives even if you have below 7 cgpa, and no backlogs. Recently visited companies are Code young, NTT Data, Accolate, Accenture, Hcl tech and Mahindra, Tcs are yet to come in next month. Around 30-40 students were selected, highest package being 8LPA and average of 4LPA, college had 90% placements before Covid, after the pandemic and regression, it had gone down considerably, but HR department are trying their best to make sure everyone get an oppurnity and be placed. I plan to work while doing my Masters and have some plans about a startup when I get enough experience in this Industry.

The placements are not bad. Some companies will come but don't expect them to hire in mass. They will recruit only few people. Some of them won't hire anyone. And some of the job roles will be not related to engineering only. Companies came till now are NTT data, ms accolite, code young, Accenture. To conclude Companies will come, it all depends on how skilled you are.
