CEC Mangalore Admission for Interested candidates must official website. CEC Mangalore offers to BE degrees in five different fields of engineering and technology, in addition to a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering.

For admission to BE, applicants must have a 10+2 degree with a minimum of 45 % in Physics, Chemistry, English, Mathematics/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics. The selection criteria are based on JEE Main/KCET scores.
A bachelor's degree in engineering and technology (BE/ B.Tech) with at least 50% is required for M.Tech admission. Applicants are selected based on their GATE/PGCET scores.

What I Liked

i like gym they provide better equipments
i do not like the food which will be served in canteen

i personally do not like the faculties because of their improper knowledge
i like more about the instrastructure because of well maintenence

i choose because it is a good college in manglore and also i cant afford in banglore we are middle class people so that was the good college which we could afford and also i choose bcause of the place manglore

What I Liked

What I didn’t like

Canteen, food, transportation facilities.
Students, the geographical location where the college located

Remarks:

This college was an extra option in my list it wasn’t proffered but unfortunately from the cet I got seat in this college .the good aspect of the college is there are least distractions over here and good faculties and good campus uh have all the basic necessary facilities that required. The bad aspect is about the location of the college no proper time to time buses available for the transportation.The cutoff for the CS here is 30-40k and other courses ranges.

My College Life

What I Liked

It is very good now compared to when i was there in college. They have added many new libraries and infrastructure recently.
Campus life was good but not much in sports related thing.

What I didn’t like

Some Faculities will doesn't meet your Expectations while explaining and doing practicals.But that will be the case in most college. Campus life is good except for sports were this college not of much importance.
College is providing much importance only for studies and not much for other activities like fun, entertainment or sports.

Remarks:

I researched this college online. I was very much impressed with their placement. It is one of the best in Mangalore. I will recommend this college to anyone who is looking for the best college at an affordable cost in Mangalore.

Woh din bhi kya din the :)

What I Liked

The most favourite moments was spent in hostel and in campus with friends after college hours. Those were the golden hours.
Great infrastructure with peaceful environment with greenary everywhere and not so hot compared to the city

What I didn’t like

Most disliked thing about college was particularly placement and few " they treated us like school children" moments.
The internal exams were worst, faculties would not even give proper marks even though it was in their own hands to make sure students have pretty good average so improve their overall gpa

Remarks:

No, I did not face any exams or interviews. I joined this college through few alumni suggestions. The admission process was pretty simple to fill necessary form, submit documents and pay the admission fee.

It's a good idea to give feedback of my college

What I Liked

Environment, as our college is located on top it's peace Surrounding no noise pollution
College festival which is Aakriti it's of 3 days festival

What I didn’t like

Internet we don't have interest in our class room in the whole college we gave 3 wifi connection it's not enough tho
Timetable we have a packed Timetable with a lot of load on us

Remarks:

So as I've mentioned above I have came through Kcet and my score was around 70k and cut-off for our course was more than 90k, it's easy to get a seat in any engineering colleges of your wish if ur score is less than 20k and if at all it is more than that of 25k and all nw you might get in your preferred colleges but not for the same course

LIFE AT CEC.

What I Liked

The college infrastructure is very good and clean.
Faculties are very friendly and supportive.
The campus is very eco-friendly and cool.

What I didn’t like

The local bus facility is minimal around the college
The printout process is very slow which is sometimes an issue.

Remarks:

I joined the college through KCET exam. I got a rank of 65000. I wanted to join a college with best teaching and best placement rate . I have top 3 college in manglore which had best teaching and placement , in which CANARA engineering college was one . Canara has a best bunch of faculties who support students with studies cultural activities and sports. The cutoff for the course computer science and business system was around 70000 . I got canara at my first round itself.

What I Liked

The thing I like most about the college is the AC seminar hall. Most of the small events are conducted there and it's very comfortable. Also we have a big ground, a basket ball, vollyball, and a cricket court
The main stage of our college is really very big and is helpful during group dances. We have 2 canteens in the college, one library and also a fountain. Akriti as I mentioned before I the best thing about the college.

What I didn’t like

The tong is dislike is the canteen. The canteen is big but not big enough for the number of student. There is always rush during the lunch hour and not enough seating area for all the student and food is pretty expensive.
The stationary shop of the college is very small and is run by a single aunty. So if many people come at the same time it a big message and very time consuming. You have to wait for a long time to get your work done

Remarks:

I chose Canara Engineering College because of its reputation. The admission can be done by either management or through KCET. The campus has good facilities, though it's a bit far from the city and the canteen food could be better. Overall, I’m happy with my choice

What I Liked

I like the faculty.. they are very friendly with the students.
I love the Campus life... One of the best college life experience.. seniors are also very close and they help us alot.

What I didn’t like

The college location.. it is far away from my hometown.
Cost for consuming food became too much..

Remarks:

I got selected for this college based on my CET ranking. I am very glad that I got this college to study. The admission process is so simple. Anybody can join the College. There are no restriction and any complex procedures to take admission to the college. Just I needed to provide my basic information and the required documents for their office work.
