good placemnets as per the seniours status we can assume that college provide some of the companoes tp visot tp the college but the problem is our faculties do not teach what is required to get a job

There is not much placement opportunity and campus placement in Canara Engineering College we get may get can’t get depends upon the performance of accedemic year so it depends on us but in college there is no good placement in too much honest

Me being in the second year don’t know much about the placement and job opportunities as far I heard from my seniors I got to know that there is a lot of competition outside and job opportunities are decreasing day by day.Talking here in our college the placement is very minimal as the companies that comes are ver minimal and with low packages . The criteria for the placement is no backlogs with 7.5 cgpa and above

College placements are good since I was also placed in college. There are a lot of companies visiting the campus. like wipro, infosys , novigo,99 games, TCS, CrestAerospace Technologies, Tessolve Semiconductors, etc.

Placement was below average. Eligibility criteria was most of the times above 7.5 cgpa but used to depend on companies requirements. Sometimes it was biased during interviews as mentioned by most of the students.

To be frank, placement or any hi-tech company doesn't want to recruite freshers but there are some few company's coming as in unicon,etc they conduct some hackathon to filter and there are also few start up coming

College have tied up with many of the Emerging company and also this year we may have great placements usually There were companies coming and Giving package upto 7Lpa and also 2lpa etcc... But the highest package is 27LpA here .

To be placed in a good company we should have no backlog and should attain a CGPA above 6. There are number of companies which visited college such as Infosys ,TCS, cognizant ,sasken ,VMware ,hexaware ,SAP Labs , robosoft etc. The average package in the college is around 3.5 lakhs pa. The highest package is around 17-18 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed are 90% . My plan is to get a good job with campus placement with a package around 10-12 LPA.

A good percentage of students secure placements each year, and I'm aiming for a career in software development post after graduation

Everyone who is attending college will get a job in a reputed company. Apple, Microsoft, Infosys, meta, and many other companies came to college for placement. The highest salary package ever was 200LPA. More than 90% of students get jobs in a well-reputed company. My plan after getting my degree is to get a job in well reputed company and retire my parents.
