What I Liked

Vast opportunities for sports arts and other activities
A very good academic performance and we can be get help from many perons who are in higher position in society

What I didn’t like

Authorities are not maintaining properly they should be done properly
Infrastructure has to improved and utilized properly

Placement Experience:

Some companies would say that there should be no supply history now a days placement depends on skill rather than grade percentage of students getting placement is decreased in last year highest lpa is 22

Remarks:

Good nirf ranking best govt clg in kerala vast campus having night programms good and experienced faculties, having so many clubs, admission through keam, all students are highly talented, maintaneance should be done to maintain its beauty

Placement Experience:

There are multiple options for placement. They offer annual package of 10 lakhs.Infosys, l and d, tata are the recruiters and many more. 80% of students are placwd with good packages. The highest package offer is about 20 lakhs.

About my COLLEGE

What I Liked

College is best the infrastructure, environment, faculties, clubs , sports , festivals.

Placement Experience:

College provides placement opportunities and internships. For placements you should have good CGPA without supplimentary exams . And that depends on the company that you are looking for. Infosys, Hyundai, TCS, WIPRO,MRF etc. There will be around 10-15 offers. Average. Salary package is 6LPA. My plane is get a off campus placement and going for higher studies.

Remarks:

Talking about my college it's the best in our state and teaching and environment is so good. So if we need to get into a government college we have write KEAM entrance exam conducted by our state . As the rank is good you can get into good college. for admission genuine documents, entrance documents. I don't think there is anything bad about my college in my knowledge.

GEC THRISSUR Kerala's best Govt Engineering College

What I Liked

The college have a very good atmosphere which is spread over 75 acers . In which different buildings are provided for different departments.
Faculties are highly qualified professionals who are Mtech graduates and PhD scholars.

What I didn’t like

There is nothing much to diske in this college. Everyone have opportunity to anything.
One major problem is travelling inside the college campus as it is spread over acers

Placement Experience:

Placement in the college varies year by year. Each year one new company arrives for placement with high packages which include MRF, Plant Lipids etc. Placement eligibility is different for each company as some company demands for no arrear during entire course and some demand for no current arrear.

Remarks:

GEC Thrissur is one of the top engineering college in Kerala. Here we have lots of programs, functions,teckfests,and many enjoyable moments. For getting admitted to the college one have to clear KEAM entrance exam with good marks. The atmosphere in college is very good. The senior students are very friendly.

A short review on my college - GEC THRISSUR

What I Liked

I like the college ambience.It being Kerala's one of the first engineering colleges have the best infrastructures.
I like the faculty.Almost all the faculty are very dedicated.

Placement Experience:

We have pretty good placement and job opportunity for mechanical engineering.We have the best facility and our college is one of the first in the state to have started mechanical engineering degree. Almost 70% of students get campus placement and also there are large number of internship opportunities

Remarks:

My college is among the top engineering college of Kerala.For mechanical engineering the placements are really good and there are wide opportunities.Also, the college is somewhat closer to my hometown.Our college being one of the best also have the most affordable fees.

What I Liked

The campus area and infrastructure are really good and well maintained.
The campus also provides a free gym for students which can only be accessed till 6 pm.

What I didn’t like

Although the curriculum is well structured, there could be more industrial interaction, internships, and guest lectures from industries.
The attendance requirements can be sometimes a burden, making it difficult for students to focus on internships, research work, or self-learning outside the curriculum.

Placement Experience:

College placement was not bad, around 30% of students were placed in various companies through campus placement. The eligibility criteria vary for different companies. Zud-Chemie, L&T, and MRF are a few visited recruiters. Salary packages can vary with companies, with the highest package of around 8 Lack CTC to the lowest of around 2.5 Lakh CTC. I am planning to do a master's degree program.

Remarks:

The main reason to chose this college when I was preparing for the KEAM exam to get admission into GEC Thrissur was their NIRF ranking, which was 174 in 2020, if I am right and the placements were also satisfactory. To get admitted to GEC Thrissur all you have to do is appear on an exam Called KEAM, which is specifically for engineering degrees. Based on your ranking you are allotted to the college of your choice.

What I Liked

Faculty,college life, seniors,lab , infrastructure, hostel

Student led political parties and their toxicity
This male bashing toxic feminists who spread toxicity

Placement Experience:

Placements is pretty nice in GEC many companies visit our college like ORACLE ,TATA COMPUTING SERVICES, Hyundai ,Nissan ,Larsen And Turbo, J S W ,etc visit our college frequently and most of Students

Remarks:

Actually there are many factors, I aimed for IIST actually but sadly I didn't got the marks to get there .I was actually depressed but when I got this college I was happy because of the college atmosphere, alumini, placements, the quality they provide

My college have Wi-Fi gym Store computer lab
No teachers does comeback as to other that is the great feature of our techers

Some lectures are really boring that might be my fault
Party fight the roy often so in our college that she is so harm

Our colleges provide placement and lead to get good placements. Average package is 50000.most of our seniors get good job in high packages. 4th have separate internship in our curriculum that is a advantage

Remarks:

I heard only good aspects of our colleges. That is why I choose this college and everyone in our college is so proud. Teachings are so good and teachers are well educated and have depth in their degrees
