Experience in Maharana Pratap engineering college

What I Liked

The faculty of the college is very excellent and qualified. And also supportive in the nature . They support every student in any situation related to the academics .
The campus life was also excellent as they are many extracurricular activities are conducted such as winter carnival, sports events , seminars etc.

What I didn’t like

The attendance policy is very strict in the college if you are unable to Maintain 90% they put huge fines . They put fines at regular intervals during the exams.
The examination criteria and the assignments create the burden to the students which hold them back to learn new skills, knowledge.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for the getting placement in the college is to have atleast 60% . There are various companies visited to college but they only provide the opportunities for sales and marketing . The recent companies visited such as vaco binary semantics , Indiamart , Home first finance, pnb metlife .

Internships Opportunities:

There is a compulsory period of 2 months where the student have to do the summer internship in any company or industry according to the AkTU guidelines. The college also provide various internship opportunities and various companies such as pnb metlife, home first finance visited the college but they provide opportunities only for sales and marketing profile .

no college life, only hectic vibe

What I Liked

faculty are good and supportive but some time biased.
education quality is better as compared to other colleges of kanpur.

What I didn’t like

Fine for late fees submission, and attendance below 90%
so many exams and assignment. self study is not possible in that environment

Placement Experience:

there are placement opportunities but not technical, as i have seen only non technical placements for 3 years. companies like planetspark, byjus, tcs has been visited. min package offered is 3LPA. above 50% student get placed. but this year there are less companies visited for placement. also they do not offer any intership , one must apply off campus for interships and jobs too, do not depend on college.

Internships Opportunities:

they do not provide any intership opportunities other than summer intership. it is better to apply online or off campus. do not depend on college because there is less chances of internship opportunities from college

Truth and right

What I Liked

I like about my college in first structure are so good it's greenery
And the second thing I like is the teacher providing their efforts to the student to get a good job

What I didn’t like

The things I dislike of my college is that canteen is far away from my block.
The only two college bus ad provided by a college.

Placement Experience:

In my college placement and job are depends on the students knowledge. And the student have to fill all the forms which was given by a college.the minimum placement graph of my college Is 15 lakh per annum

Internships Opportunities:

No I have not adopted any internship till now but I fill and give a exam for an internship . I believe that I crack the exam and then I got a internship till april.and I pratice a DSA questions to get a internship then I got a permanent job .

I can say that we can afford this college easily

What I Liked

I like about the infrastructure of college due to it is too old college
I like about the sources that teachers provide for us

What I didn’t like

I don't like about the faculty due to it change by year
I don't like about the campus cafeteria due to it is not in our building

Placement Experience:

Fir placement and job purpose we can say that if we study too hardly then we get placed any good MNC companies and tcs and infosys type . They provide placement training also which trained us for interview and test.

Internships Opportunities:

College provide internship by online phase because they give only source not internship so we have complies to take and give participation in that and give test then we get any intership do it is in our hands.

The truth behind the Good infrastructure

What I Liked

Infrastructure of college which i like the most
Campus life which i will miss in corporate jobs

What I didn’t like

Attendance policy which you have to maintain every semester
Conducting assignment test after every unit

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for placement is you have no backlogs and you have more than 65% . Or fulfilling the company's requirements. Most visited company is TCS. Highest package is 49 LPA and average package is 3.2 LPA

What I Liked

The infrastructure of MPEC kanpur is top notch, with excellent hostel facilities,the library and lecture theatres are extensive and well equipped with more technology

Placement Experience:

the eligibility criteria for appearing in placement drives is, a candidate who have completed his third year and going in 7th semester (3rd year) with a average CGPA of 7.5 can attend the on campus placement drives.

Internships Opportunities:

college provides internship opportunities to it's students only after 5th semester , and i have just started my 5th semester that's why i have not any any internship right now , bht in future i will be opting for internship.

Dissatisfied from college

What I Liked

College infrastructure is good , and faculty is good enough to teach students.
Campus is good enough but not that good

What I didn’t like

College is not for the students who are coming for sports activities
Faculty only teach students which is in books no other knowledge.

Placement Experience:

actually I am student of btech 3rd year and I saw previous year students placements were not good enough and almost 50-60 % or more students didn't get any placement highest was 50 LPA but that wasn't campus placement , lowest was 1.5-2 LPA, average was 3LPA Top recruitment companies are TCS , Wipro Only 30-40% students got intership.

Internships Opportunities:

In my college (MPEC) only final year students can apply for internships and currently I am btech cs 3rd year student so I can't apply for internship right now so I can't suggest which companies and roles offered under internships.

What I Liked

Infra structure is very good a large ground and various canteens over whole campus is exaggerating
Campus life is very nice i have a lot of friends in the college seniors are also too supportive here

What I didn’t like

I dislike the attendance policy although University demands 75% my college demands 90%
If student is not able to do so they impose big amount of fine

Placement Experience:

Placement is nice but not that much also as it is a tier three college but if a student studies well he can get a good placement for sure in year 2022 a senior shruti omar got 49 lakh package and got placed in Microsoft

My college review.

What I Liked

College infrastructure are so good and maintenance level are high , Every hour's theirs cleaning staff clean very well.
College life due to my friend are running so good . Some faculties are good , well educated, motivates us.

What I didn’t like

They applied 90 per attendance at every mid sem which is difficult to maintain and unnecessary demand of fine by college.
There are a lot of test are conducted which disturbs the whole period of an lecture and faculties involved during lecture are less. They only focuses on what they teaching.

Placement Experience:

Placement as much not so good as compared to PSIT because they only provide average package 3 lac per annum whereas PSIT provides 7 Lac per annum average package. Of campus from this is so difficult as it lies tier 3 college.

Internships Opportunities:

No there is intership provided by college students go for of campus intership interview, they charge high amount for training but teaching level not so good as enough for placement. Projects are only made by students no involvement of teachers.

MPEC Good Review.

What I Liked

Infrastructure of college is word class.
Campus have canteen are very useful for us.

What I didn’t like

College distance from my house is approx 30km so that is a challenge for me.
Highway development project can also divert our root from any where but now Highway is develop so now there is no any problem

Placement Experience:

Companies come to our college and select multiple Students for their Company for multiple roles and job offers. This year Placement at all colleges was down and many Students were not placed but colleges tried to provide jobs to all the students because they have a 100% placement guarantee.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes, I obtained an internship in Bharat pay as a graduate intern from the online application, Internships are provided by the college in multiple job roles multiple companies, and they help Students grab an internship.
