NEC Erode is an autonomous college established in 2001. The College is accredited by NAAC and the NBA. It is approved by AICTE.

NEC offers B.E with 9 specializations as its flagship course. The fee for B.E is INR 2.2 lakhs. The eligible candidates must have completed 10+2 with the PCM stream. The selection process is based on the TNEA examination followed by a counselling session.

NEC offers M.E in 4 different specializations as its PG-level course. The fee for M.E is INR 60K. The eligible candidates must have graduated in a B.E course. The selection process is based on the TANCET exam followed by a counselling session.
