The placement is not so good here you should try for off campus here In my opinion prepare for off campus placement because on campus placement recruitment are very less last year TCS and Mahindra came to recruit

Companies usually prefer students who have 8.0 cgpa and above and are good communicators . Prominent Companies visited in last 3-4 years : Infosys , Capgemini, TripuraInfo , Pran , JBM and others. Highest package received: 5 lpa Average package: 2 lpa %students getting placed is unknown since the institute's Training and placement cell doesn't really publicise the list . Very few students sit for placements since most are aiming for government exams . I , personally have no intention to make use of this degree because I am a dual degree student , studying a distant course from a reputed institute on Data Science and Applications, for 4-6 years of curriculum. I'll be trying to get a job in the private sector where I can merge my electrical engineering and data science knowledge.
