First of all this is a government college and yes if you want to join you need to give a entrance exam named DEEET for diploma and for Degree you need to give TBJEE. and if you are doing diploma and want to go for Degree you have to give another entrance exam

Honestly speaking, I had no other option other than this institution. So I had to go with it . Method of entry : Entrance exam (TJEE) for B.tech aspirants and DEEET for Diploma aspirants. Open only to residents of Tripura . The cut-off is pretty low , even if you scored a 1 out of 100 on a paper among the PCM subjects, you can easily get admission (happened in my case) . If you get selected during the counseling round , you just have to visit the college and verify your documents and pay the required amount (Rs. 8000) , rest you'll be informed by the authority through WhatsApp group. Under the TJEE the best government engineering college choice is TIT , the degree has value to it although the college atmosphere and campus might not suit your tastes . The academics are average but not that bad , I believe that the progress and success of a student isn't defined by the institution but themselves. Students here mostly focus on giving banking exam or GATE . Rest is what you make of it.
