CFTRI Admission Update:

  • CFTRI Admission is open for MSc in Food Technology. The deadline for 2023 session is June 22, 2023.

A college education focused on engineering sciences, technological advancement, translational research, and food safety. MSc and PhD programs are available. At the Central Food Technological Research Institute, courses in flour milling technology, integrated MSc-PhD programs in nutrition biology, and PhD programs are available.

  • A BSc degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50% or a B.Sc. with honors is required for admission to the MSc program. with an overall grade point average of 55%. The CFTRI offers the MSc, Integrated MSc, PhD programs, and the course on Flour Milling Technology.
  • A Bachelor's degree with at least 65% overall in Science, Biotechnology, Food Science, Agriculture, Medicine, or Pharmacology is required for admission to the integrated MSc and PhD program.
  • CFTRI conducts its national-level examination in Mysore for the selection of candidates.
