SCMHRD Admission Dates 2027

Admission to the 2027-29 MBA batch begins with SNAP 2026. Students may take up to three SNAP tests, and their highest score is considered for the final percentile and shortlisting. SCMHRD conducts its GE-PIWAT selection rounds after the SNAP result.

SCMHRD Courses and Fees

SCMHRD provides three full-time MBA courses with a combined intake of 330 students. Each full-time programme runs for two years. A part-time Executive MBA is also available for working professionals. The following figures apply to the 2026 admission cycle under the official fee schedule.

For domestic students, the MBA General Management fee is divided equally into INR 13,53,150 per year. The annual charges are INR 10,51,150 for MBA Business Analytics and INR 8,64,150 for MBA Infrastructure Management. Students choosing campus accommodation pay an additional hostel fee of INR 84,500 to INR 1,12,500 per year.

SCMHRD Admission Process

MBA Admission

SCMHRD uses SNAP scores to shortlist applicants for all three full-time MBA programmes. Shortlisted students then complete the GE-PIWAT stage. The final merit calculation assigns 50 marks to SNAP, 10 marks to the Group Exercise and 40 marks to the Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test, making a total of 100 marks. Every seat is allotted through merit, and no management quota is available.

• Check eligibility: Applicants need a bachelor's degree from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks. The minimum is 45% for SC and ST applicants.
• Complete SNAP registration: Registration through snaptest.org before the deadline is compulsory.
• Choose the SNAP attempts: A student may sit for all three December sessions. If more than one test is taken, the highest score is used for shortlisting.
• Attend GE-PIWAT: Applicants who clear the required SNAP cutoff are invited to the Hinjewadi campus for the selection round.
• Wait for the merit result: The institute prepares the final list by combining the SNAP and GE-PIWAT marks.

NRI applicants may submit either SNAP or GMAT scores and should contact the SCMHRD admission office directly. For the 2026-28 batch, the expected General MBA cutoff was 97 percentile. The expected cutoff for both MBA Business Analytics and MBA Infrastructure Management was 94 percentile. GE-PIWAT contributes 50% of the final merit score.

SNAP is the only entrance examination accepted for the regular MBA programmes at SCMHRD. The expected programme-wise requirements are listed below.

EMBA Admission

The Executive MBA is intended for working professionals who have substantial managerial experience. Applicants do not need a SNAP score. Selection takes place through a direct application followed by an interview. The official SCMHRD website provides the eligibility rules and schedule for the next EMBA cohort.

SCMHRD Placements

Every student in the 2023-25 batch was placed during the 2025 recruitment season, resulting in a 100% placement rate. The highest salary package was INR 35.9 LPA, while the average and median packages stood at INR 21.47 LPA and INR 20 LPA, respectively. More than 118 companies joined the recruitment process.

The Business Analytics and Infrastructure Management programmes support specialised recruitment in analytics, consulting and infrastructure finance. Human resources and general management positions form the main placement areas for the flagship MBA. Since the campus lies in Pune's Hinjewadi IT corridor, students are close to recruiters from the technology, consulting and BFSI sectors.

SCMHRD Rankings

In the NIRF 2025 Management rankings, SCMHRD is placed 13th. This position puts it among India's top 15 management institutions and makes it the highest-ranked Pune-based business school under the same ranking.

SCMHRD Campus and Infrastructure

The 5-acre SCMHRD campus stands inside the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park area of Hinjewadi, one of Maharashtra's major IT centres. Its location near technology, consulting and BFSI companies supports access to corporate guest sessions, industry events, internships and recruiters during the programme.

Students have access to an academic block, auditorium, indoor swimming pool, health and medical care centre, digital library, case-study laboratories and campus-wide Wi-Fi. Separate residential blocks are provided for male and female students, with yearly hostel charges ranging from INR 84,500 to INR 1,12,500. These academic facilities support a trimester-based curriculum that follows the Symbiosis International University framework.

SCMHRD vs SIBM Pune vs SIIB Pune

Students applying through SNAP often compare SCMHRD with Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Pune and Symbiosis Institute of International Business Pune. All three institutions belong to Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and use SNAP scores for admission.

SIBM Pune has the higher NIRF 2025 position at 11, compared with SCMHRD at 13, and is traditionally the first choice for many SNAP applicants seeking a Symbiosis institute. SCMHRD offers distinct options in HR, Business Analytics and Infrastructure Management for students who already have a preferred field. SIIB Pune focuses on international trade and agribusiness and has a lower fee range and SNAP cutoff.
