The entrance test is conducted by NTA once a year between July and August. The syllabus remains General reasoning and basic maths. 3 domain subjects based on class 12th syllabus.. and teaching aptitude. The cut-off depends on the difficulty level of the exam. The preparation for the domain is done from class 12 NCERTs.

The admission process was pretty clear. You have to clear an entrance exam CEE (Common Entrance Exam). Through this examination merit list is prepared. Along with it the marks of class 12 also matter because the merit list is prepared by combining the 60% of CEE and 40% of class 12th. The application form can be found online by searching NCERT CEE. Talking about the application fees, it is 1000 rs. Here cut-off highly depends upon the state since there are 2 types of reservation category-wise as well as a state type. The admission is done by calling the students on campus for offline counselling. The students need to pay the fees on the same day to ensure their admission. The preparation for CEE generally requires 3 months. One can prepare by using online resources and NCERT also provides the previous year's question papers on its Website. Regional Institute of education is a college of NCERT. It provides two bachelor degrees simultaneously i.e. B.Sc. and B.Ed. This saves one year of the students. There is an entrance exam( ITEP) for this college and for integrated course. On the basis of performance or merit , college is allotted to students. RIE Ajmer is the best place for teacher education. It's campus is very fantastic and beautiful.

I have cleared the CET (Common Entrance Test) held in July 2022. I was from Uttarakhand and there was only one seat for Uttarakhand State. After clearing the exam, we were called for document verification. No interviews were there.
