The faculty is pretty good and the college has enough resources for a proper teacher of students. The faculty is quite supportive and helps students in many fields, whereas the laboratories are filled with resources. There are many programs just to give students the opportunity to work and the college conducts some exhibitions to showcase the work of the college students to outsiders

The course and curriculum is well thought of, although the topics provided semester wise is rather different when compared to other universities, for example the very first sem in geography contains oceanography and history of british literature, 5th sem in english hons has 21 literary theories and history of American literature to be studied along with the death of a salesman, unlike any other university in my knowledge. Alongside, you would have to study education and additional subjects such as AECC (communication) and DSE or environmental studies, it gets easy once one gets a hang of it. The faculties are extremely qualified and experienced with many of them have taught abroad such as Frankfurt, the faculties also have significant contribution in the formulation of ncert textbooks for cbse schools and one can find their names in the acknowledgement of those textbooks. Sem and mid exams are managed properly and are generally on time.

I choose this course because this course provide dual degree in the span of 4 years after 4 year I will be eligible to become a TGT teacher. The faculties of regional institute of Education are very well qualified most of them have PhD from very recognised universities of India. Even some of our professors have a post doctorate from abroad. Teachers are quite approachable and you can go to them to solve your doubt anytime during academic hours. Teachers are available for any kind of issues and their very polite and behave with the student in the best way. Principle PC Agarwal sir is very approachable and you can discuss about any of your problem with him. And he solve it very actively. All those sometimes syllabus is not ended by the professors but the students have to do their self study this is one drawback. Exam for held in two semester and in each semester there is two internal exam respectively. Difficulty level remains from easy to moderate and student can pass the exam easily.

The Students of this college will not get many scholarships but the amount spent in four years is not large... Within 2.5 lacks ( Hostelers) we can complete two Degrees from this college ... NSP, a Studentship scholarship is available for Students...

The faculty present is outstanding and every faculty present here has a master's in their subject. All professors have PhD in their subjects and well well-classified in their subjects. It's an B.sc.B.ed course. Generally divided in two streams PCM and CBZ. Further there is division of honours paper. An PCM student can go for either physics, chemistry or mathematics paper whereas an CBZ students have to choose between zoology and botany. In the 1st two year PCM students will study all the 3 subject physics chemistry and mathematics. similarly for CBZ it's zoology and botany. From 3rd year onwards only honours paper is studied. Besides this from the 1st year education will be also an part of the curriculum. In the 6th sem there will be an multicultural placement to different schools of the near district. Then in the 7th sem followed by Internship to JNV accross the odisha, West Bengal, jharkhand and bihar state. Again on 8th sem there will be an community work in the district nearby. NCERT provide scholarship to the children who are not getting any help from any other means. The total fees each year is around 50000.

To become the professor in education I have chosen this course. Almost all were done their PhD and Asst. Professor. Teaching method is lecture method. Twice in a year and level is moderate to difficult. Cost all total is 13000 around. NA.

Maximum faculty member are highly qualified which is advantages for the student. There are only two department of Bachelor of arts and bachelor of arts(B.a.B.ed.). (Geography and English). In fourth year student have to go to JNV for the 4 month of internship programme.

I choose this course because this course is very limited in our state and the degree of this course will help me in future to get a job in teaching field. Faculty members are highly qualified and educated. They used to teach in various teaching styles according to the class room situation and student's understanding. They are very close to students and always stand for us. In a year there are two semesters conducted at the university level and several class tests are conducted by professors at their level. The overall fee of the course is around 15000 for OBC and general students and it decreases for SC and ST students. So it almost payable for all the students for different class . Both national scholarship and state scholarship are available for students.
