In our time it was merit based selection due to COVID. But as before now also entrance exam are being conducted by the RIE CCE authoritiy. Then the selected students are being called for documents verification. Once all this are completed students are being admitted. Choosing This college as it's has a great importance in the field of Education training and is coming under NCERT. The more basic reason is that it gives us National exposure along with savings one year. Because it is an 4year course where we are getting two degree in one go.
It's an B.sc.B.ed course. Generally divided in two streams PCM and CBZ. Further there is division of honours paper. An PCM student can go for either physics, chemistry or mathematics paper whereas an CBZ students have to choose between zoology and botany. In the 1st two year PCM students will study all the 3 subject physics chemistry and mathematics. similarly for CBZ it's zoology and botany. From 3rd year onwards only honours paper is studied. Besides this from the 1st year education will be also an part of the curriculum. In the 6th sem there will be an multicultural placement to different schools of the near district. Then in the 7th sem followed by Internship to JNV accross the odisha, West Bengal, jharkhand and bihar state. Again on 8th sem there will be an community work in the district nearby. NCERT provide scholarship to the children who are not getting any help from any other means. The total fees each year is around 50000.
I am in 6th sem now. So I will be eligible for it in the coming year. But I am not willing to be a part of this because I am preparing for master I the field of chemistry. But surely I will be sitting in interview to have a idea about the same.
This is the only professional degree college providing campus placement. Where school all over india attend it. The students in the final year are eligible to attend the campus placement drive. This year it was conducted in the previous month ( April). 35 school all over india attended it. The highest package was 55k per month and lowest 28k per month. But very few students accept the offer as they wanted to pursue master degree (pg) in respective fields.
The campus is having 5 Hostel. Out of which 1 is for boys and remaining 4 for girls. The mess in the hostel are students running. The students in the final year run the hostel according to the convenience of the borader. The mess menu are being an mixture of all the food provided in the 13 selecting state of the Rie Bhubaneswar. Every year Ganesh puja, saraswati puja and diwali is celebrated in every hostel. After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
