- The campus of the college is very huge and it is very lush green and environment friendly. All the stuffs are very cordial and behave very nicely. The campus is quite friendly
- The academy building contains every kind of facilities. The infrastructure of the classes and the whole college is very good and well equipped.
- Faculty is a very approachable and you can go to them in any doubt and issues they are very approachable and no doesn't have any attitude.
- The main attraction about this college is the college library which contains about 84000 books and have a very peaceful environment.
Dislikes
- Classes are not that regular and sometimes syllabus is not completed so students have to study themselves
- Other things about this institutes is quite good no student would regret after coming in this college.
Remarks :
Our institution regional institute of Education Bhubaneswar provides at dual degree in a span of 4 years. In the span of 4 years the student can avail to undergraduate degrees BSc and b.Ed. after the completion of the course students are eligible to compete for the jobs like TGT teachers. There is only four RIE present all over the India AND IT IS COMPLETELY UNDER THE NCERT. These are the main reasons to choose RIE over any other college. For admission students have to appeared and exam namely r i e c e e. In this exam if one students course good then he is allowed to take admission in the college. The lush green huge campus and the friendly environment and best faculties makes the institute stand out from other colleges. Overall regional institute of Education is one of a kind and one must choose this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because this course provide dual degree in the span of 4 years after 4 year I will be eligible to become a TGT teacher. The faculties of regional institute of Education are very well qualified most of them have PhD from very recognised universities of India. Even some of our professors have a post doctorate from abroad. Teachers are quite approachable and you can go to them to solve your doubt anytime during academic hours. Teachers are available for any kind of issues and their very polite and behave with the student in the best way. Principle PC Agarwal sir is very approachable and you can discuss about any of your problem with him. And he solve it very actively. All those sometimes syllabus is not ended by the professors but the students have to do their self study this is one drawback. Exam for held in two semester and in each semester there is two internal exam respectively. Difficulty level remains from easy to moderate and student can pass the exam easily.
Internships Opportunities :
As this is a Teachers training institute every students are compulsory to go to internship. The internship is provided to variety of JNV Jawahar Navodaya vidyalaya all over the India. Students have to do a compulsory internship of 3 months in the JNVs. And this gives a huge exposure as teachers to the students. The internship is not paid but it give a huge amount of experience to the students
Placement Experience :
Being a teacher training institute regional institute of Education provides a total hundred percent of the placement. Though the packages is not that attractive. The package provided is about 3.2 lakhs per annum to 4.2 lakhs per annum . That's why students prefer to go for higher education rather than taking the placement. Do the employbility after completing the course is quite good because the students get eligible to become an TGT teacher right after completing the course. Students usually go for KV and JNV exams after completing the course. Last year the highest package was about 4.2 lpa. On an average 3.6 lpa is the salary. Employment opportunity after this course is quite high so that's why people prefer this course BSc b.Ed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Regional institute of Education Bhubaneswar is quite affordable for the students. At the time of admissions students have to pay 14155 rupees for admission. This this amount include the tuition fee as well as the other charges. If any students wants to avail the hostel, then during the time of admission only he/she has to pay 13520 rupees more. This amount includes the mess fee for 2 months and establishment fee of the hostel for a year. So basically at the time of admission the student have to pay about 30000 rupees. And afterward in every month the mess fee of 2550 should be paid. On total the yearly cost is about 54,500. The fees is almost equal for all the years it just varies by only in hundred or more rupees nothing more. If a student is from SC or St category then they are exempted from paying the tuition fee of 5000 rupees
Campus Life :
The huge lush green campus makes regional institute of Education a very great choice. The campus have a Mandir students children park, variety of courts like football volleyball and tennis court. Students are always encourage to play and use all the resources provided by the institution. At the end of the year competitions like sports literary and cultural are held. Students are divided in houses and they participate enthusiastically. Here so many programs are there in every month so the students participates actively and interacts with every people. One of the important fact about the campus is the library the library contains about 84000 books and even digitally available books. The library is fully air conditioned and opens from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. everyday. Classroom sir also quite well developed and with well equipped. Smart boards are available in every classes and digital education is promoted. The ambience is also quite good , the infrastructure is also quite good.
Hostel Facilities :
being a completely residential campus regional institute of Education provides hostel to each and every students admitting in the college. So there is no separate need of application for hostel every students are provided with hostel in the time of admission itself. About hostel mess the foods are okayish. The quality is not that bad but not that good too. Though it is bearable with the amount we pay. Per day the mess fee is 85 rupees. And food is provided four time in a day. So the food is quite descent according to the price. The rooms are spacious and a students are provided with the bed a table and a chair. In a room three students are accommodated.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
