I chooses the college mainly for the integrated course of BSc. BEd and the location of the college, the faculty, the people. The course and college are pretty good and satisfying in itself and the college conducts many programs all around the year, from freshers party to farewells, from competitions to inter-house leagues.

Always wanted to be a teacher, Integrated course would save me a year, also this institute is run by and comes under NCERT and hence this is the best institution in India you could do your b.ed from, it also provides placement for the interested, starting from 25k to 40k and even 45-50k for the people pursuing non integrated b.ed after their masters. CEE (combined entrance exam) is conducted every year for admission in all RIEs.The RIE for a candidate is selected based on his/her domicile. RIE bbsr admits the students from all the northeastern states, bihar, west bengal, odisha, jharkhand and Andaman and Nicobar Island. CEE holds 60% weightage in the cumulative score whereas 12th boards holds the rest 40%. 1st year stays hectic but the next 2 yrs are pretty laidback and one can try several interests and ventures in this period, 7th sem is internship in JNVs and it gets pretty hectic after that. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to pursue b.ed/m.ed, it has best of both worlds.

Our institution regional institute of Education Bhubaneswar provides at dual degree in a span of 4 years. In the span of 4 years the student can avail to undergraduate degrees BSc and b.Ed. after the completion of the course students are eligible to compete for the jobs like TGT teachers. There is only four RIE present all over the India AND IT IS COMPLETELY UNDER THE NCERT. These are the main reasons to choose RIE over any other college. For admission students have to appeared and exam namely r i e c e e. In this exam if one students course good then he is allowed to take admission in the college. Rie Bhubaneswar is a nice place to study as it provides us with much exposure and has brilliant teaching as the faculty present here all are certified by NCERT. It too offers many different courses which can be pursued in graduation or after it. It institute is best for students who want to pursue an integrated degree in their graduation as it provides an option of the integrated degree of BSc.B.Ed and B.A.B.Ed in 4 yrs It also offers B.Ed and M.Ed in 2 yrs and PhD in education. In our time it was merit based selection due to COVID. But as before now also entrance exam are being conducted by the RIE CCE authoritiy. Written exam of 100marks, subject are teaching aptitude, reasoning ability and english language test. After the examination merit list are being issued based on the state wise seat reservation. Then the selected students are being called for documents verification. Once all this are completed students are being admitted. Choosing This college as it's has a great importance in the field of Education training and is coming under NCERT. The more basic reason is that it gives us National exposure along with savings one year. Because it is an 4year course where we are getting two degree in one go.

Entrance Test. The conducting procedure is good but selection procedure is very poor. Cut off almost goes to 60% and above out of 100%. The preparation is based upon the language proficiency, mathematical and reasoning and teaching skill and aptitude mostly.

In every each year 55 student are select for these 4 year integrated course. Selection of student has done by entrance exam which has 60% of weightage and remaining 40% of weightage from 12th board exam.

After completing class 12th examination I heard about this college and course from my friends. A written exam is conducted every year for the admission of students on different particular courses. Questions in this examination based on teaching aptitude, English language and reasoning abilities. In india RIEs are the best college for the teacher education programmes. It helpful for both personal and professional aspects of a person. The certificate from the college will help in future in the job point of view.
