What I Liked

The college has good facilities, and the staff is supportive. The classrooms are decent, and the labs have enough equipment for students to learn properly. The library has a good collection of books, and the campus provides a peaceful environment for studying. The hostel is manageable, with basic facilities like water and electricity available most of the time. The mess food is average but edible. The college tries to organize events and extracurricular activities, giving students opportunities to participate and enjoy their time here. The placement cell is active, and some companies visit for recruitment, offering job opportunities for students
The land is mostly covered with trees and greenery, making the environment fresh and natural. While most of the area is forest-like, the open spaces available are used well for different activities. The roads inside the campus need improvement, but overall, it is not difficult to move around. Wildlife, including snakes, can sometimes be seen, but precautions are taken to ensure student safety. Sports facilities are available, though they could be better maintained. Despite some challenges, the college provides a decent education and a unique experience for students who appreciate nature and a peaceful atmosphere.

What I didn’t like

This college is very bad, no good building, all old and broken, no internet, no good library, lab have nothing useful, everything missing. College is inside jungle, not city, full of trees and grass, no proper road, only mud and stone, walking from one place to other is big task, sometimes snake coming, sometimes monkey stealing things, very dangerous. Hostel is worst, room small, dirty, water problem, electricity going anytime, food is very bad, eating is like punishment, snake coming in room, monkey also coming, student always in fear. Teacher some good, some not care, only reading book, no proper teaching, exam checking is very bad, sometimes marks coming random, no proper placement, company not coming, student no job, everyone looking to escape, no sports, no fest, no fun, nothing good, only suffering, if someone survive here, he survive anywhere, this college is biggest struggle of life.
Placement is joke, only small company coming, salary very low, future looks dark. No festival, no enjoyment, only struggle, student want to run away but no option.

Remarks:

The college is allocated to me on the basis of my JEE percentile. Every category has different percentile quota like SC/ST can get admission on the percentile above 50 and for general it is 90 for obc it is 80 as of 2024

Overall good college as a teir 3

What I Liked

The infrastructure is overall good and the faculty is good too
The teachers are very supportive and strict in terms of study

What I didn’t like

Placements are not that good but may get better in few years
There is the concept of seniority and juniority whoch is not that bad

Remarks:

JEE Joint entrance exam is required to be cleared to get addmission in this college. Then with MPdte counselling i get this college. Its is one of the top college in MP and good for engineering but not teir 1 or 2

I like the Faculties in the college because they are very Active for students.

The journey of UEC

What I Liked

Faculty, our all faculties are iit graduate ad they are very helpful
Campus life, though our campus area is very small but it is beautiful

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure, our college is 60 years old. So the infrastructure is not so good
Campus life, our college canteen is not good.

It is cheap and it is located in my hometown , I write jee mains examination to get this college. Here the admission is based on jee mains and boards. If you have above 70 percentile in jee you will get admission in this collegev

What I Liked

the area except the buildings is good, the labs are also not that bad

the building are very old only the frist year has allotted new building

Frist thing that let me choose this college was this is a state government college and it's fees structure and then my choice was not to go too far from my home thats why i applied for this college and then here i got the branch i most preferred.

Great environment

Remarks:

You will provide your admission due to the mpdt counselling and CLC around at the end of the counselling you have to score minimum 60 percentile in OBC category and in general category you have to score minimum 70 percentile but in sc /st you have to Score 36 to 49 percentile you will not face any problem in college and if you want to take admission due to CLC round so you have to score minimum marks in board something 70 above

ujjain enginnering college newly admited student in general category

What I Liked

Every branchs can participate in Events and fest conduct by one branch.
Fees of btech course is so affordable in this college.

What I didn’t like

College building is too old and not renovate them.
Classroom is not well maintained and smart.

Remarks:

I did not face much problem at the time of admission because the college admission process is completely online. only need to score in jee main entrence exam and the cutoff of general category is 60 percentile.

What I Liked

Faculties are so qualified and talented.
Cheapest fees of btech course in madhya pradesh

What I didn’t like

Facilities are so arrogant and strict also
Campus building is so old need to repair or renovat them

Remarks:

This college is best for btech course in madhya Pradesh at this affordable fee. During admission process you need to register on (mp dte ) government college councelling and jee mains entrance exam is mandatory for councelling. 70 percentile cutoff for general category,50 for OBC and 30 for sc/st category.

One of the best college in MP govt. Engineering college of ujjain (GECU)

What I Liked

Campus was too good because it is very greenery and silent
Facilities are very good for students they help in each things

What I didn’t like

Building are very old not maintain properly
Infrastructure may be maintain good like nits

Remarks:

For taking admission into these college one should qualify jee mains exam with a good percentile and the they can apply for admission through MPdte counselling and then if you clear cut off you can take admission easily

A great affordable Government college to learn Engineering

What I Liked

College life here is decent and happening, especially the place Ujjain. It is quite low-key and can be very good for spending your four years while gaining knowledge.
If you are interested in fields other than technical ones or also want to prepare for further studies, this college can be a great option, as they do not stress their students about attendance.

What I didn’t like

The college infrastructure can be more adequately built and renovated, as it is a very old and prestigious college, so they should renovate it promptly.
Also, they should also consider extracurricular activities more seriously, like college fests, etc., as they enhance students' capabilities and encourage them to perform before crowds.

Remarks:

It is an old and reputed state engineering college with a great alumni background. The fee here is also very less, and they provide good quality education as per their standards of modern-day technologies. Also, being in Ujjain, location-wise, it is 10 out of 10, and it is also nearby Indore, which makes this college a good choice for anyone.
