Review for Engineering College of UMIT

Placement Experience:

Placements opportunities are very good here. The highest package here offered was 28 LPA. You will get placed if you are good in academic and have no backlog in any subjects. From 2nd and third year there are placement for internship and in final year there are full time opportunities.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes I opted for internship and I got too. In final year it is compulsory for one internship as it is in academics which is added in final semester marks atleast min 4- 6 weeks max 6 months. Here some internship are converted to full time opportunities too.

What I Liked

The good thing about the college is its infrastructure, its campus its environment
The college fest is also one of the best fest in mumbai and celebrities, singers, dancers are being invited for fest so its really fun

What I didn’t like

There are No AC in classrooms and the college is not yet completely renovated
The hostel facilities are not impressive

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for placement is a 7.5+ Cgpa for every branch the average package is up to 10 LPA and the highest package is up to 32.25 LPA the student placement rate is about 70% each year and After B.tech I am planning to do an MBA from IIM or Abroad.

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't applied for the internship options now as I am a second year student but companies like meesho, flipkart,visa, deutsche bank , bank of America come to the colleges and the internship options are not quite impressive but 70% of students gets placed every year

Best life at UMIT mumbai

What I didn’t like

Collage infrastructure is not at its best. Some labs lag during functioning but the good point is all are under working and will be perfect soon

Placement Experience:

Can say this is the top best collage in Mumbai and also one of the best collage for women in case of placement. This college provided 37 lpa as the highest package by the visa company. Various companies like Capgemini, IBM, Bank of America, Deutsche bank, Infosys, and many more are regularly visiting companies for college. The average package is 9 lpa for college.

UMIT - A college who fulfills dreams

What I Liked

1. College faculty because they play a crucial role in education . They are very experienced and talented.
2. Campus life is good. Many events are held to entertain students. Many educational events are held .

What I didn’t like

The college infrastructure could be improved.
More creative events to engage more students should be implemented.

Placement Experience:

The college gives excellent placement opportunities. The highest package is 30 LPA. Many prestigious companies visit college every year , like Deloitte, Capgemini, Infosys, KPMG, Accenture, JP Morgan, Visa, Barclays, NVIDIA etc . Average package offered is 7 LPA. Almost 70-80% students get placed. It is very good amount. There are plenty of internship opportunities for 3rd year students too.

Internships Opportunities:

Many companies visit college for internship. Barclays NVIDIA KPMG etc. mostly for software development role. Stipend is 50k to 20k . College provides internship opportunities for 3rd year and 4th year students. Many companies visit for summer internships.
