Ques. What is the weightage of CAT scores for admission in IIMA PGP-FABM programme?
Ans. IIM Ahmedabad assigns a weightage of 65% to CAT scores in the initial screening of candidates for admission in PGP-FABM programme. The remaining 35% weightage goes to the Application Rating Score which is calculated based on candidates’ performance in 10th, 12th and graduation examinations and work experience.
Ques. Can international candidates apply for admission at IIMA through CAT scores?
Ans. International or overseas Indian candidates can apply for admission at IIM Ahmedabad through exams such as GMAT and GRE, admission through CAT scores are not applicable for such candidates.
Ques. Can I get admission at IIM Ahmedabad without clearing the sectional cutoffs?
Ans. No, a candidate is not eligible to apply for admission at IIM Ahmedabad if they don’t clear sectional and overall cutoffs in CAT. The institute releases category wise cutoffs for the same.
