Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya (BPSMV) is renowned for being the first women’s only college of Northern India. It was upgraded to the status of a state university in 2006, after bringing several of the current schools, the erstwhile gurukuls, under its ambit.

BPSMV Admission to various PG Courses is open for the academic session 2022-23. The last date to apply is August 25, 2022. The application fee is INR 500. Candidates can Apply Here.

The institute offers 30 undergraduate and 28 postgraduate courses, from disciplines ranging from humanities, sciences, technology and business administration to medical science (at BPS Government Medical College), economics, law and library science.

Admissions to most of the undergraduate courses require candidates to meet eligibility conditions as specified for higher secondary board examinations, whereas masters’ programs are available to those fulfilling the bachelor-level requirements. Most courses need applicants to appear for a university entrance test, followed by a personal interview. Admissions are done on the basis of merit.

Admissions are made on the basis of exams such as LEET, GATE and JEE Main. Counselling is done by HSTES for these entrances, on behalf of the institute.

BPSMV Sonepat Admission 

JEE Main 2022’s April session has been postponed owing to the pandemic. An announcement is slated to be made in the first week of June.

  • Higher secondary exams in Haryana (BSEH-XII) have been postponed by BSEH, just like other boards conducting the exam at this level. A call is to be taken in June’s first week.
  • GATE-2022 results were declared on March 19th, 2022. Non-IIT/NIT/GFTIs like BPSMV had to conduct their respective admission process.
  • Most of the courses ended taking applications in the month of November, in 2020. Thus, admissions can be expected to start in July-August this year.

  • Infrastructural facilities include an expanding campus located in a rural locale at Sonepat, Haryana, student and faculty hostels, central library, language labs, guesthouse, shopping centre, eateries and oncampus healthcare.
