I face online based exam which was conducted by NCHM EVERY YEAR. All over india rank will be released by the nchm. If you secure good rank in examination then you got the chance to addmission in our college.

IHM Kolkata is a central government college and we didn't face any GD or PI . We had to physically report to the college with necessary documents. The students are taken measurements for their uniform and advance has to paid.

I chose this college due to its reputation and emerging as one of the Top Hotel Management College in India. It is a Central Government College and ranks itself among the TOP 5 Hotel Management Colleges in India. In order to enter this college we have to give a Joint Entrance Exam - NCHMCT JEE conducted by NTA, it is a computer based test where people fight for good ranks alike other JEE exams, the better the rank the better the college, if you were a general candidate you have to score a rank within 2500 in order to get IHM Kolkata, and if you are a SC/ST you can get it if your rank is within 15000, this is one of the bad points that should be rectified the rank difference between general and SC/ST is huge. Sometimes direct admission is also taken by college when seats remain vacant after GD and PI.

I chose this college due toh the reputation as it is one of the topmost institute in India. There was no GD/PI but one needs to rank good in the NCHMTJEE to enroll. Studying hard and help yourselves with common maths knowledge and english you will do great.

1. First off giving nchmct jee is necessary. Secure a rank within 2000 if general and more if others to get into ihm kolkata which comes within top 5 govt hotel management colleges of India . 2. this is quite affordable as compared to other private hotel management colleges and there's good placements.

I gave a national entrance test conducted by NTA i.e. NCHMCT JEE and via counseling, I got into this college. It's a computer based online examination conducted once a year. IHM Kolkata is one of the best Hotel Management colleges in India and has a good reputation in the Industry.

IHM KOLKATA is a very good college, the professors here are mostly passout of IHM Kolkata so they are vey friendly towards the students. Our college has an air-conditioned student dining hall, an air conditioned cafeteria, 6 kitchens, 2 restaurant, an auditorium, and much more. I had very keen interest in bakery so I selected this course. To gain admission first you have to appear for an admission exam that is "NCHMCT JEE", after that on the basis of your rank you can select the college that suits you. Cut-off for IHM KOLKATA is 1200-2000 rank. To prepare for the admission exam there is a book called NCHMCT JEE entrance, this book helped me to prepare for the exam.

The college is one of the oldest and the best hotel management college in India. As the cut offs are high so ofcourse there is a tough competition among the students so obviously the demand is high as the professors are really very good. The exam to get into IHM is nchmct jee and the cut off during my were around 3000 for general category.

Firstly, as I was a hotel passionate student I made up my mind to join IHM Kolkata as I'm from the same city. I had to face an MCQ text in which there were multiple field questions like mathematics, history, geography, general awareness, Logical reasoning or aptitude, etc. Then as I get the result and my college, I'll have to go through with paperwork and physical verification and induction. The exam is affiliated with NCHMCT-JEE, and the cut-off is differentiated amongst different categories of students and accordingly, they have to rank to get enrolled in their desired college. Talking about good aspects, college has a very good reputation in the city, and being a central government and having a good campus and facilities which they provide is something which any student can ask for. College with all the classes and separate practical labs for different classes.
