Eligibility for placement is from 5th sem. Companies like Taj, ITC,Oberoi come for interviewing and also some retail companies. Campusing continues for the whole year and students have to be very confident.

Our college boasts of 100% Placements and it stands to its commitment, you may not get the desired package but you won't ever lack behind in placement as you will get placed for sure. Placement is based on personal skills such as grooming and fluency in English and knowledge about the concerned department in which you are opting for. Various popular Hotels such as ITC, Oberoi, The Park, Taj Hotels and etc have come for their placement and coming to retails giants like Reliance, Aditya Birla, Starbucks, Taco Bell, Dominos, Woodland Hospitals, Myntra and etc have come for recruitment. The average package ranged in between ?250000 - ?275000 per annum and the highest package was offered by Starbucks of ?450000 per annum.

Moderate to good placements. Looking at the job market ,there are definitely good placements even for the most average students . Retail and hotel both placements available. Almost 80 percent students get placed . You can also go for msc and then sit for placements . More than 45 companies came for placement this year .

Placement takes place every year for the final year students. The percentage of students getting placed is also good. Some of the companies are - IHCL(most popularly Taj), Oberoi, ITC, JW Marriot, etc. The retail brands like Aditya Birla, Rare Rabbit also hire from the campus.

Our college is known for its placement. Ihm kolkata has 100% campus placement. Every one or the other student sitting for interview get selected in one or the other companies. I got my placement in Marriott international. I cracked management trainee of Marriott known as voyage program.The highest package was offered by sodexo which is 700000 lpa and the average might by somewhere around 300000 lpa.

If genuinely depends on your performance, college is doing their best to get the companies for job opportunities and doing anything for all the students to get jobs in their hands at the end of college life. Criteria for placement is that you have to choose a specific department in which you think you can grow, having a BSC H&HA degree. Companies like Oberoi, Taj, ITC, Marriott, and many more companies visit every year to recruit students for their organizations and with the good package that a fresher should get. The average package could be like 3LPA or a maximum of 7LPA. Around 90% of students get conformed placed to companies as of their hard work and focus. My plans as I'm leaving the college are to go hotels if TAJ as I'm a hotelier and from the background and specifically in food and beverage department.
