Gourmet Nite is a fest which is held in January or February. It is the Eastern India's biggest food festival. There are various clubs like dance , art , music etc There is a library which is air conditioned and it only contains professional books . IHM is full of events and students work hard to make those events a success.

Every year in January our college celebrate GOURMET NITE which was North -east largest food fastival. All types of hospitality books are available in our library. In winter sports week are also conducted by the college.

The campus life was amazing, you will be able to meet people from all over India who came to study here, most importantly it was a ragging free campus. We also had Sports Week and the Largest Food Fest of Eastern India named as Gourmet Nite - it is usually conducted during the month of January or February every Year. We had a seperate library which was huge in size and had every books related to the course and also for outer knowledge, renting of books were very easy. Our College had a large ground for playing football and cricket and also an basketball and badminton court. People who were interested in dance had music or other co- curricular activities had a great luck as our College had every musical instruments and things of art and craft and also a room for dancing. People could either come in their free time or we had a period for co- curricular activities once a week. We didn't have any particular group or club, it changed every year.

People are socialize well and has the environment the one could express themselves. Books are readily available in the library and notes are more than ebough toh pass exams with good marks. Culturals have the heart of people as everyday is a festival in somekind or other

Happening if you get good friends. Limited students not overcrowded . Good free lunch for everyone in the students dining hall . There are many students clubs and plethora of activities to go for in interested

The institute has a good infrastructure for academics. The library is very helpful with its variety of books. We have a playground, AC gym, badminton court, table tennis, basketball, etc. A number of cultural activities takes place and the students take active participation in it. We have several clubs as well. Hostel facility is also good and affordable. It has washing machines for the students. The food is decent. The registration is done on merit and attendance basis.

Gourmet Nite is the fest of IHM Kolkata which happens every year but it was stopped due to COVID-19. It started again this year which happened on February 2nd 2024. Almost every book related to the course you'll find it in the library and journals are always available.

The campus life is really very good. The fests are conducted on time. Every month or the other some or the other functions are being conducted. Be it eak Bharat shresth Bharat ,alumini meet, sports week or the biggest eastern India food fest "gourmet nite". Through these fests students gets enrolled in different brigades and handle the entire operation leaded by 3rd years.I was hostelite during my college time. The hostel food is quite good and they offer a variety of menu. And the hostel is quite affordable. The fee of hostel for a single semester is somewhere around 20000.

College life is something which a student has the desire and expectations of how it should be, in college, there are multiple events taking place throughout the year as well talk about Gourmet Nite which is a grand event of IHM KOLKATA where we prepare cuisines from different countries and follow their culture as a part of the theme.it is takes place in January or February, and there are many other events such as Diwali, Christmas etc. Talking abt the library where you'll get all the books related to the curriculum and specialty books for specific departments. Talking about the sports every year a sports meet takes place where different sports are being played such as football, cricket, badminton and carrom and many more. And for these things, we have different clubs for different things to conduct like we have cultural, horticulture, polymath, sports, and tourism. As I'm a day scholar I'm not sure about the hostel facilities but the food as we get meal during college hour.

Hostel life is so good, I have learned many things from them. we have been trained by our seniors for interviews and all, all events we enjoy, and get to learn discipline and grooming standards, speaking English and all.
