IHM Dehradun offers courses such as B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration at the UG level and short term courses like Diploma and PG diploma courses. IHM Dehradun admission is done on the basis of the candidate’s merit as well as entrance exam scores.

IHM Dehradun admission to B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration is granted on the basis of NCHMCT JEE scores. To be eligible for admission, the candidates must pass the 10+2 system of the Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as a compulsory subject.
For admission to the Diploma courses at IHM Dehradun, admission is based on merit on the marks obtained in the previous qualifying examination. To be eligible for admission to the diploma course, candidates should have passed 12th (10+2 pattern) or equivalent from any recognized board with English as a compulsory subject. Whereas for admission to the PG Diploma course, a candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any field and must not be more than 25 years of age at the time of admission.

Sad reality of Hotel Management in India

What I Liked

Only thing I liked was the location and a few teachers who gave me real life knowledge for this cruel world.
Apart from this there was nothing to be liked about you’ll get to know when you’ll not have any choice except to choose this University.

What I didn’t like

Talking about infrastructure the campus is very small and also there is a gym of one room only which is only open for 2 hours because of which I gets over crowded.

Remarks:

I love food and that’s why I decided to do Hotel Management but choosing this college was not my decision it was all because of the entrance test taken by NCHMCT which provided this college on rank basis. Otherwise no one will ever choose these colleges.

HOMETEL A HOME AWAY FROM HOME

What I Liked

Beautiful infrastructure with beautiful scenic view of mussoorie.
Campus is very big and having a big playground.

Remarks:

IHM DEHRADUN comes under the central government college. It comes under Top 7 colleges of IHM . It is located in the valley of Dehradun which gives us a beautiful scenic view from hostel and college with mussoorie best view on the top of the hill. If you want to get admission in this you have to qualify NCHMCT JEE PAPER and your rank shoul be in between 1 to 10k.

Such a great experience regarding my collage

What I Liked

I like the campus location very much as the campus was near the mountains and the view is very amazing
The faculty members and the staff of the collage and the practicals which happened in daily classes

Remarks:

I have given the exam of NCHMCT-JEE exam in which i got the rank all over india and then after the rank was disclosed there will be a counselling session in which we get the collage as per our NCHMCT rank

IHM Dehradun

What I Liked

Campus is good, faculties are helpful and encouraging and overall good college.
There are not such an advanced infrastructure or facilities. But the important facilities like library, gym, lockers, Lift and so on are provided.

What I didn’t like

Just the heavy work load like writing notes and making assignments

Remarks:

I'm from Dehradun itself, so decided to choose the college at Dehradun only. You have to clear NCHMCT JEE to get enrolled to the college. A fees of 2000 will be applied for the same. After the clearance of JEE you have to pay a sum of 20000 as an acceptance fees for the college. Dress will be provided by the institute only.

Honest IHM Dehradun review

What I didn’t like

The faculty is very strict. Too much written work is there.
The campus is very small. There are no fests in the college

Remarks:

The factor that made me choose this college was the national ranking of the college and also the college was near to my home. No there was no group discussion for the addmission but there was a national test by nchmct for cut off for colleges
