- Campus is good, faculties are helpful and encouraging and overall good college.
- There are not such an advanced infrastructure or facilities. But the important facilities like library, gym, lockers, Lift and so on are provided.
Dislikes
- Just the heavy work load like writing notes and making assignments
Remarks :
I'm from Dehradun itself, so decided to choose the college at Dehradun only. You have to clear NCHMCT JEE to get enrolled to the college. A fees of 2000 will be applied for the same. After the clearance of JEE you have to pay a sum of 20000 as an acceptance fees for the college. Dress will be provided by the institute only.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are highly qualified and are very helpful and encouraging. But you have to be prepared for writing a lot of notes, assignment and heavy work load. Term end exams are not that difficult but the question paper is set by the NCHMCT.
Internships Opportunities :
As of internship, I've personally joined the ITC Mauriya, New Delhi for the IET. I got the exposure of the industry. It was a good experience. There are many more good brand that gives the opportunity of IET placement. Hotels like Taj , Oberoi, JW Marriot, Pullman Novotel, Shangri-La, Roseate and so on.
Placement Experience :
As of placement and job opportunities, the institute provide us with the good hotel brand and retail brands too. Hotels like Taj group (IHCL), ITC, Oberoi, JW Marriot and so on come for the MT programs. Eligibility criteria are good basic and curriculum knowledge to clear the interview.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Overall fees of the course is around 4 lakhs other the personal expenses like accommodation, stationary, Hostel, transportation and so on. Scholarship is provided by government ( National scholarship portal). Hostel in campus is provided. Fees for the same is around 35000 (6 months).
Campus Life :
College campus is elegant, filled with green all around. There is an in campus hostel facility available. Journals and books will be provided by the institute library. Classroom are fully air conditioned. Institute have its own sports week held in the institute play ground. All types of sports are played.
Hostel Facilities :
Institute offer the hostel facility at the very affordable hostel fees of rs. 35000 (6 months). The locality have the rented rooms and PG available but it's little different to find the rented rooms. Also the room rent is to high as compared to the hostel. I would rather prefer to go to the hostel. There are certain restrictions as it's the hostel. The decoram of the same has to be maintained. Outing timings are 5pm to 7pm after the college classes are over.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
