Panjab University is known for its campus and you will not regret getting into this university for the campus life know don’t know when my 1st year passed. Hostels are pretty decent, Mess food is not so like you can only live on that food something like that. The whole campus has wifi including the hostel but depends if your room has the range of the wifi (ethernet connection in the room is not provided this is the only disadvantage of the hostel other than this all good) Hostel is also not far away from the department.

Cyanide is the annual cultural fest, organised in the month of Feb every year, you can expect Punjabi singers on campus, due to the highly politically active nature of the university and student elections, and prominent leaders also share the stage to show their dominance in the region. The university has a department library and one huge central library which only closes twice a year, both for cleaning only, rest holi, Diwali etc it's always open 24x7. There are clubs at department level of all kinds and university level clubs too. Sports is a major yes yes for Panjab University and student elections are really a attractive aspect of the university.
