MDU DDE offers Bachelor’s degree in 2 streams (B.A., B.Com.) and Masters degree in 3 streams (M.Com., M.Sc. (Mathematics), M.A. (Hindi, English, Sanskri, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics).

However, due to current circumstances, the last date had been extended to May 8, with a late fee submission of 2500/-. After this, the candidates must submit the print copy of their application form along with the required documents to the DDE, MDU Office failing which the admission of the applicant may get denied. However the date of online display of the first merit list has not been announced yet.

MDU DDE UG Admission 2024

The UG courses along with their durations and specializations are tabulated below:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have qualified one of the following examinations with a minimum 33% aggregate for B.A. and 40% aggregate for B.Com.

Passed Senior Secondary +2 examination from Board of School Education, Haryana , Bhiwani OR
Must have pursued a Diploma in Pharmacy (for B.A. only) with English as mandatory subject OR
Must have pursued 3 year Diploma program in charge of Haryana State Technical Board without passing Hindi and English subject at +2 level OR
Must have passed any other examination from any reputed University authorized by Maharshi Dayanand University equivalent to the above mentioned criteria.

Selection Criteria

The selection of the candidates is completely merit based, that is they will be admitted to the University on the basis of the percentage obtained in the last qualifying examination. For UG admissions, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in +2 Board examinations.

Eligibility Criteria

For PG admissions, the merit list will be prepared according to the percentage or grade obtained at +3 degree level.

MDU DDE Admission Process

Application Process:

Candidates need to register themselves through online mode at the official website mdu.ac.in
Fill personal details such as name, contact no, date of birth, Email-Id, local and permanent address etc.
Upload the required documents such as photograph, signature and thumb impression in specified format.
Payment of the application fee through E-Challan mode at any Punjab National Bank branch or any Axis Bank branch.
After the submission and confirmation, candidates must submit the printed application form with all the required documents to the University Directorate before the deadline failing to which, the application might get denied.

Email ID and Contact number of the applicant.
Scanned copy of the JPG / JPEG images of the following documents according to the tabulated format:

MDU DDE Admission FAQs

Ques. Can foreign students apply for admission in MDU DDE?

Ans. Undoubtedly Yes! The University has a well developed Foreign Student’s Cell under Senior Faculty Members who keep themselves indulged in providing support to International students through ‘Single Window System’. However, it is mandatory for foreign students to submit their Equivalency Certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities and a No Objection Certificate issued by the Advisor Foreign Students Cell of MDU, Rohtak.

Ques.;Is a migration certificate mandatory for admission in DDE, MDU ?

Ans.;Any sort of Migration / Transfer / University Leaving Certificate is not at all required at the time of admission for both national as well as international candidates.

Ques. Is there any mode of revival of application form in case it gets rejected by DDE, MDU?

Ans.;In case if the application form of any candidate gets denied, it can be revived after the submission of the required documents and after successful completion of the incomplete document within 10 days before the inception of the theory examinations.

Ques.;Is it possible to change the subjects of course after the admission?

Ans.;Yes, it is possible only for a first semester student to change the subject(s) of a particular course or even the whole course within one month from the admission date after successful payment of the required fee of that particular subject / course.

Ques. Is there any Fee Waiver Scheme for the reserved category?

Ans.;50% concession on total payable fee is permitted for following categories of students:

MDU Employee or his / her child / spouse.
Working Defence Personnel up to JCO level who are devoid of any sort of scholarship / fee concession / financial help from their employer.
SC / ST candidates of Haryana only after the submission of the requisite certificates and documents.

It's an amazing experience because this reminded me of all my college memories.

What I Liked

Campus Life is the best experience for me and also all the students are amazing.
Their faculties are also very helpful and friendly. They always help their students in every way.

What I didn’t like

There is nothing I personally don't like.

Remarks:

At the time of graduation, I choose Pt. Neki Ram Sharma Government College, Rohtak under MDU. This is the no.1 college under MDU that's why I personally choose this college. I don't face any difficulty at the time of admission, the whole process is very easy. But in this college merit list goes high that's why we have to keep our 12th score good. During admissions their are no group discussions, interview or written tests. Admission depends on our 12th score. And during my admission in Post graduation, I choose distance education from MDU. For this, when I filled the form, I had to upload all my documents, then choose my course and then make the payment .This process is also very easy. And then we receive an email confirming the admission and whatever study plan we have in the future is provided to us via WhatsApp, email or on the site.
