The American College, an autonomous institute and established in 1881, is located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The college is now affiliated with Madurai Kamaraj University. It is one of the oldest and first sets of seven colleges in India and is made autonomous by the UGC. 

The American College is accepting new admissions for its UG and PG programs. The whole process of admission can now be carried online at the official website of the university. In case of any difficulties, the university has also provided a demo video explaining the whole admission process.

The university provides various UG as well as PG courses. The university accepts scores from various entrance examinations such as MAT/CAT/TANCET. The registration for the CAT exams is open and can be done by 15th September.
