What I Liked

Various departments with separate lecture theatre
PICU, MICU, SUPER SPECIALITY HOSPITAL, CANCER HOSPITAL

Placement Experience:

In MBBS COURSE,there is no any placement. However you may get job easily by applying interview for various hospitals. You can also compete exam for Junior residence , for medical officer You can easily get job in government and private sector with salary arround 70000

Remarks:

SKMCH MUZAFFARPUR have PICU,MICU, SUPER SPECIALITY, CANCER HOSPITAL and many more department. Medical students will get great exposure as he/she can visit several departments during their clinical exposure Admission requirements - neet UG rank ( 9K- 17K) - Indian citizen Admission process -MCC(15% All India Quota) -ugmac( 85% State Quota)

SKMCH - The cure core of Muzaffarpur

What I Liked

The faculty here are one of the great teachers one can get in this field. The thoroughness of the syllabus is well explained here and the campus is well checked by them excluding any chance of ill-treatment amongst students.
The infrastructures and joint ventures of SKMCH is improving day by day. The new super speciality wing alongwith other new buildings made are truly making it's campus beautiful. The glory of this college is increasing with time. It is currently the best cure point in the entire region.

What I didn’t like

The campus is quite big. Thus a part of land is not maintained well resulting in over growth of the flora as well as the animals within them. However they are quite away from the main campus and the hospital building, they are still a concern for this college.
Hostel facilities are good here. But few of them do need some renovation works. The college is already into it, but it seems it'll require much more time than that.

Placement Experience:

After the 4½ years of the course, 1 year of paid internship is given to every student with a stipend of up to 20k. Afterward, they can even apply for a JRship in the same college with a paycheck of up to 8lakhs per annum. Most doctors prefer to go for higher education i.e. masters and then the paychecks keep on increasing with the post you're on. Overall it is a cascade procedure with i in work load as well as salary credited.

Remarks:

The admission criteria are the same as for any other government medical College in the country. We need to clear the NEET exam and then according to the cut-off and merit result, we are allowed the respective seats. One must be present with every required document at the time of admission.

SKMCH Review

What I Liked

Our college has a lot of greenery , surrounded by trees and feels quiet refreshing at times just to walk around the campus
From academic point of view and later clinical exposures we also have Cancer , superspeciality hospital and emergency wards trauma center and a separate Pediatric hospital

What I didn’t like

There is nothing much to dislike about the college but if i have to say it , i would say that there are a lot of old buildings which could be rebuilt/ reconstructed at times it gives a very old look
As this college is on the outskirts of muzaffarpur , at night roaming outside the campus can be unsafe

Placement Experience:

Placement and job opportunities are very huge. The Medical profession itself is so much more respectable. After pursuing an MBBS from here you can apply for a JRship in a government hospital with a salary of Rs60,000 approx and in a pvt hospital it may range up to a Lakh a month.

Remarks:

Choosing a medical college is a significant decision influenced by many factors. Here's my take on factors that influenced my decision. Reputation and ranking (It's 50+ Years old), Clinical Exposure, Location ( Pretty Good ), and Fees ( Affordable ). The admission process is through the NEET examination.
