Admissions to the BA. LLB (Hons), B.Com LLB (Hons), and LLM programs are based solely on merit achieved in CLAT. Admissions to the Doctoral program are conducted through an Entrance Test.

Institute of Law Nirma University Scholarships

The institute provides two categories of scholarship opportunities to its UG students. The first category is Merit Based Scholarship Scheme and the second category is Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship. 

  • Merit Based Scholarship: The first category of scholarship offers a 100% fee rebate to the top four students, a 75% discount on total fees to the next five students, and a 50% discount on total fees to the remaining seven students.
  • Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship: The second category scholarship will provide 100% funding to 7 students whose parents' annual income is Rs. 2.5 lacs or less. Another 9 students receive a 90% scholarship on course fees if their parents' annual income is Rs. 4 lacs or less, and another 9 students receive a 75% scholarship on course fees if their parents' annual income is Rs. 6 lacs or less.

Institute of Law Nirma University also authorizes Vijay Lakshmi, a site for students seeking education loans designed under the supervision of the Department of Financial Services (Ministry of Finance), the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Human Resource Development), and the Indian Banks Association (IBA). The Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF) offers students with interest subsidies on bank loans. The subsidy would be 100% or 50% of the interest on the loan obtained by students from nationalised banks, and eligibility will be governed by specific criteria as defined by Nirma University.
