Institute of Law Nirma University Admission is strictly based on the entrance exam. Institute of Law Nirma University offers numerous Undergraduate, Graduate, and Doctoral legal courses. BA LL.B (Hons) and B.Com LL.B. are the two 5-year Integrated UG courses available. Institute of Law Nirma University also offers Executive Diploma Programme in Cyber Laws and Forensics.

For admission to UG courses, candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate score of 45%.
Admission to the LL.M. course is granted to candidates with an LL.B. grade point average of at least 55%.

ILNU Ahmedabad offers B.Com LLB (Hons) for 5 years for 120 seats. Up to 15% of the total intake is allocated for the NRI/NRI Sponsored category. Additionally, 15% of supernumerary seats, over and above the approved intake, are reserved for Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Foreign Nationals (FN), and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries-South East Asia (CIWGC-SEA). The selection criteria for admission to the PhD programs are as follows:

An Entrance Test will be conducted for eligible candidates, with a qualifying mark of 50%. The test syllabus comprises 50% research methodology and 50% subject-specific content. (The detailed syllabus is available on the website.)
A list of candidates who clear the Entrance Test (scoring 50% or above) will be posted on the University's notice board and website.
An interview/viva-voce will be organized by the University, where candidates will discuss their research interests/areas through a presentation before the Department Research Committee, as specified under R.Ph.D. 2.3.
Candidates who have qualified for UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF), GATE, or GPAT with a valid score (in terms of cut-off marks and duration) are exempted from the Entrance Test and are deemed qualified for the personal interview.

What I Liked

I like sex ratio here, it’s 40:60. I am not saying I am here for that reason but …. Nvm

Remarks:

It is better than any other college that you get at this clat rank (2.5k to 7k), also I can afford so it’s good. Also if you see it has better alumni base so, the nlu you will get at this rank are just newly established, so it is better to join here.

Nirma: The tale of ups and downs.

What I Liked

College and Infrasturcture - Overall the collge is 6-7 out of 10, if you are getting better option dont hesitate to choose as the college and placments and fine only. Infrasturutue is really and the camplus is beautiful and green. Perks of the college are good campus and safe city and some tag of college as NIRMA is reputed college and also maintaing decorum amout students and make you learn the feeling of pressure and burden and how to abide by timelines
Some faculties are good and expereiced and know how to teach but the major faculties are new and does.nt know how to teach at all. Earlier is was fine when Purvi Mam was dean but since she left the college is declining and the quality of student and teacher both is getting worse. Some faculties like nitesh sir and nikit mam are exceprionally good and will make you learn and understand things. Campus life is nice but only if you ahve hostel facility and sorry boys dont hae that facility.

What I didn’t like

Faculties are getting worse and no teaching experience is geeting good as all are new comers also some are student of Nirma only. The Quality earlier and now has lot of difference and also no focus on learning is there only they burden you with assignments and projects and meeting them timely is goal no learning at all. Dean madhuri is worst of all and i wonder how she is the dean. Some faculties doesnt know how to speak english and the fees is around 300000 per year now and addition 2 lacs for living. 25 Lacs for law degree in nirma is waste to be honest.
No hostel for students is the worst thing as no one can enjoy campus life. Students lives in flat and have no contol on them and into addictions. This is going worse day by day and i have witnessed that form my personal expereince that the quality of student is also low as intake is high so anyoe can now take admission.

Remarks:

Campus is beautiful, Ahmedabad City is good and some faculties are really knowledgable. Classrooms are good and library is also nice. Alumini is fine , many students are exceptionally good and overall the college is fine. No hostel facilities for boys available. Boys live outside the campus by taking flats, pgs and hostels. Major Faculties are not expereinced and do know how to teach. Common Law Aptitude Test (CLAT) is the test to appear and one need rank under 4000 to get selected for couselliing in NIRMA. There is no GD and PI round only direct selections. I did the prepare by taking coaching for Clat and I took drop of one year for preparing the paper and i suggest if someone can prepare by doing crash cousre can also clear the exam. No need of taking a drop.

ILNU guide

What I Liked

Infrastructure: the campus has a lush green surrounding which enables the students to have an amazing atmosphere to live in
I like the fact that some of the faculties are genuinely very helpful and they pay so much attention on our progress.

What I didn’t like

The fact that we are expected to maintain so much discipline sucks sometimes
Apart from the discipline factor, I fee the moot court resources can be improved.

Remarks:

So firstly, I got selected into Nirma on the basis of my CLAT rank. Choosing nirma over other colleges including the ones apart from top 10 NLUs was certainly a wise decision. Apart from the clat scores, nothing was taken into consideration for the selection process. The admissions at ILNU take place only on clat scores.

Worst College Ever

What I Liked

Nothing good in this college except facilities.
Nothing Good as I said everything is void here.

What I didn’t like

Everything.The topper will be reduced to zero.
Everything and the topper will be nothing in this college.

Remarks:

I got into this College seeing the placement rates.Was pretty hopeful that being the hardworking pupil this college would provide me immense opportunities to pursue my career.But here's the reality check I got,You can only Excel in this college if you are involved in its deep politics.No opportunities as such only people who has connections gets opportunities over the student who really deserves those Chances.Example-I am recognised author of two books in First year itself but in literature competition they opted their favourite Students instead of Me saying your vocabulary is too hard to understand.
