What I Liked

Actually, I like many things about the campus like cafeteria garden area libraries,
Sports areas, especially volleyball, court, basketball court, Coco court, and there are many many extra curricular games like carrom board college will be having both indoor and outdoor game as

What I didn’t like

I dislike about campus. Construction work will keep on going that will be disturbing us while we are concentrating in the lectures also during my first years so there there are no lift facilities.

Placement Experience:

I’m not aware about the placements because I’m currently in my third year, so I don’t know about our placement specifically, but I have heard about from my seniors. They said placements are simply good and they got some companies offering around 20 thousand depends upon the company

Internships Opportunities:

I haven’t offered any internship through my college, but I have been done my internship at Madras High Court as well as district court but didn’t offer any internship or projects for the students. We should be doing it by ourselves itself.

my life in presidency

What I Liked

There are two separate libraries one for school of law and other for school of engineering.
There are too many options for playing sports.

What I didn’t like

Behaviour of security guards and continuous going on construction in the university.
Incomplete infrastructure of the university.

Placement Experience:

There is no placement available for law in this university. Sometimes by luck they came but the maximum salary package they offer is not more than 3 lpa. companies like accenture, tech Mahindra and Capgemini are only hiring engineering students.

Internships Opportunities:

There is no internship available at college. Every one is required to do at least 5 internships of one month during the entire course at the time of year break i.e. during the month of June to July. Every student has to do an internship through their own as they will not provide any internship.

Presidency the pretty and the ugly

What I Liked

Law school as a department is a great department which i genuinely love as we have our faculty helping us out with anything and everything. We have some really good faculty
I have found great friends. Presidency is the campus where you will meet all kinds of people and you will find the kind of people you vibe with

What I didn’t like

I genuinely hate the fact that we have a dress code. The dress code for girls is either kurti(no sleeveless or net kurtis) saree and formal shirts with pants and for boys it is formal shirt tucked in with formal pants. It's mandatory for boys to tuk in thier shirts, we have proctors standing all around the campus taking away ID cards from boys who do not have thier shirt tucked in.
The other thing i really do not like is the DSA and it's clubs as they will promise you on duty attendance get the work done from you and later in when you need that attendance as you fall below 75 percent and can't write your exams they will not help you and instead give you excuses over why they can't give you attendance

Placement Experience:

The placements in presidency are decent with a minimum of 12lpa packages the highest was 24lpa in law school companies like oracle etc come for placements but you can not sit for placements if you have a GPA below 7 and any backlogs or summerterms

Internships Opportunities:

I have no opted for an internship thriugh college till date but i will be applying to karnataka state legal services clinic through my college this year. I have do internships in other firms but i have not got in them through college

University Review

What I Liked

Campus and its infrastructure is one thing which I like.
The other thing which i like about the university is its academic curriculum and faculty.

What I didn’t like

There’s no one thing in particular that is dislike
University is strict in it’s rules and regulations which makes it hard to survive at sometimes like dress code and all

Placement Experience:

As I’m from law department I don’t have much idea about the placements. But i have heard that students will get placed in top companies after the completion of their degree for which they have to maintain a standard cgpa.

Internships Opportunities:

I’ve done two internships offline till date and 7 online internships. The two offline internships I’ve done are one in an NGO and the other under a district court advocate where in I’ve got practical knowledge regarding the law field.
