What I Liked

Faculties are good with good experience and teaching ways
Transportation and shops around the college is preety good

What I didn’t like

College hostels are not upto par bathroom are not good at all canteen food is ok
Security in hostel is bit of a concern canteen food is okay not much good

Placement Experience:

After you do MBBS , you have multiple options From doing speciality of post graduation or diploma To housestaff which is available through interview and exam at diff hospital colleges and private too You can set up your own clinis and be a physician Clinis salary differs But a housestaff which is available for different courses and posts like medicine or obs gyn or paediatric ot emergency department Salary of 50 thousand is fixed in government college With private varying You can do UPSC CME which is a medical exam for medical students bt central exams My plan is to do a post graduation after cracking post graduation entrance test and achieving a good marks at entrance and taking medicine as post graduation and further opportunities and salary is there

Remarks:

The college location is kamarhati Which is between rathtala and sodepur Nearest railways is agar para station Nearest metro is baranagar From metro around 15 mins far in public transport Railway are 10 mins far Multiple restaurants are there in sodepur and around Transport is very good Enviornment is ok Inside the college is only hospital all OPDs , emergency room , wards , There are good number of medicine shops Retailers like Spencer are there in rathtala around 10 mins far from college Teacher are good Labs are ok These factors made me choose the college There was no test Admission was based on councelling rounds of state quota and all india quota (75 percent of seat (120)goes to state 15 percent to all india quota) All India quota required higher marks there was help desk for admission Average of recent trends for state quota avg of 640 and for all india quota avg of 660 out of 720 required in neet entrance examination

Better to choose our college .

Placement Experience:

There is no direct placement for the paramedical student. They have to find a job by their skill and submit their CV to the different laboratories. Highest package:-25000 Average Package:-15000 it varies for different companies and laboratories.

Remarks:

The college is next to BT Road accessible from all the locations of Kolkata. Good laboratory management and good service. library in the academic building on the 2nd floor near the principal office that is open from 9 am to 8 pm for the students of our college. The admission process is very simple first you have to sit the SMFWB competitive exam and then counselling. You must have a science stream in your HS.

I Like the campus Atmosphere Patient load is Not Too much High Sob U don't have hectic Schedule
Infrastructure of the Collage is Well and Good New MD Cardiology Department is Added

I only Dislike is the Campus is Very Small no Sufficient Trees are not Planted
Faculty Are Good But they R Very Busy Students Don't go collage Every Day
My life After Getting into this is Awesome
I have Learned so Much things which js Required

MBBS and Internship must Govts jobs are available Hospital duty all the students get placement I plan to get MD medicine It is the best option otherwise Any student can go with RMOnship GDMO also

The college is in Kolkata so It is a Very Good Advantage and Everything Coaching is Easily Accessible here Criteria For NEET UG js 620 now And Group Study among the Students Is Awsm I have Taken Coaching in Allen Carrier Institute And cracked NEET UG

Review of CMSDH

What I Liked

As It Is A Government College Fees Is Very Much Affordable
It Is Located In Kolkata, And Communication From This Place Is Easy

What I didn’t like

There Is No Sport Complex And Extra Curricular Activities
Things Like Mobile Laptop Are Oftenly Stolen From Hostel Rooms

Placement Experience:

Look like other courses in other colleges the placement criteria are different. After completing MBBS most of the students start preparing for the PG entrance exam for specialization. Some students start house-staffship in hospital. Otherwise, you can apply for an RMOship choose rural services, or apply to any private hospital. After mobs, you can easily earn 50-60k as per your capabilities.

Remarks:

1. You have to take an entrance exam which is NEET. 2. Then you should have secured an all-India rank under 13.5k if you belong to the UR category. 3. Though this college is not sold during the choice-filling procedure it comes to the 6th position as it is located in Kolkata. 4. Academically it is pretty good.

What I Liked

I love my dream degree itself... So MBBS and it's everything I love ...my college, my teachers and fellow students....all are good and cooperative...and seniors are very helpful..... So it's amezing in one word
Campus Life I enjoyed a lot during event times ....all are fabulous 😍

What I didn’t like

The hectic study..... Huge syllabus and lots of exams and long class schedule 8-9 hrs a day ....
About college one thing I regret...if there was a playground it may make my college more beautiful...

Placement Experience:

Yes, you will get a paid internship after 4.5 years of study it's included in the MBBS curriculum... After the internship you get your MBBS degree then you can have your setup of clinical practice or you can join a housestaffship in any medical college or you can appear for the NEET PG EXAM and go for a specialist degree

Remarks:

In MBBS one wants a college near Kolkata ...and as per my rank AIR17700 in Neet UG -2020 the best possible college I got this college....and lucky it is in Kolkata and the nearest medical college from my house ..... So I didn't think about any other colleges..... Yes, I appeared for NEET-UG 2020, it's an all-India exam to get into MBBS...

College of Medicine and Sagore Dutta Hospital: A Mixed Experience

What I Liked

The faculty are excellent. All of them are highly experiences and knowledgeable and try their best to prepare us for the profession and the exams.
The Fest and the Academic Fest are important opportunities presented to us for further learning. Additionally, an annual Medical Quiz is hosted with faculties from all over West Bengal.
The Tertiary Cancer Care centre is developing and provides for further areas of learning.

What I didn’t like

The campus lacks space and there is absolutely no provisions made for sports and extracurricular activities.
The Physiology laboratory is grossly undermaintained.

Placement Experience:

One of the advantages of MBBS is that employment is assured after completion of the course. For better opportunities however further post-graduation and specialisation is necessary. From our batch onwards, we will probably have the National Exit Exam (NEXT) to qualify for MD or MS. I plan on pursuing an MS (Master of Surgery) after my MBBS, followed by specialisation.

Remarks:

Admission is based on NEET (UG) Rank. There are no interviews or discussions. Cutoff for College of Medicine and Sagore Dutta Hospital at the end of Round 3 of counselling (State Quota): Unreserved: 18521 OBC-A: 20501 OBC-B: 26747 EWS: 41486 SC: 1,00,649 ST: 4,08,311 The admission fee is INR 6500.
