The course curriculum is same throughout India as given by the National medical Commission. The faculties are great in this college . They are professional, resourceful and easily approachable. The academics of our college is very good and a competitive atmosphere is always present in the college.

There are nine semesters. Each semester consists of both theory and practical exams. Number of exams vary though depending upon the year you’re in. Faculty members are practising physicians themselves. They’re the best in my opinion and the circumstances i’m in. Final exams are held with utmost security and without any unfair means. Lots of CCCTV cameras, body frisking, metal detector scans, etc ate utilised.

I choose the MBBS course because It offers the chance to help others and make a difference,, Provides job security and diverse career opportunities,,it Is recognized globally, allowing you to work anywhere. It Offers lifelong learning and personal fulfillment. It Can lead to a rewarding career both personally and financially. All the professors and faculty are well qualified.. All of them have minimum bachelor degree they needed Most of them have MD/MS degree. Atleast 5+years of experience of teaching and demonstration. Nearly all of them have clinical experience. Some of them are from Research background also. There are numerous part test,,subject test,,class tests,,trimesters and university exam at the session end.

This is a government medical College under the direct control of the West Bengal University of Health Science. I chose the MBBS course in this college because it is a very good college as well has all the facilities like government scholarships, coaching facilities, and caring facilities and to avail the facilities of Kolkata like the mega city. The whole MBBS course is done for under 50K and no price hike in 5 years. Faculties are highly educated and under regular practice in hospitals. You get a higher opportunity for clinical knowledge exposure in this college which help you for betterment in future. All government, semi-government and private scholarships are available in this institution. Teaching quality is very much better than other medical Colleges. Routine is followed and classes are held according to it. All topics which will be taught in the classes are informed earlier and it will help to better understand students in the classes.

The course mbbs is tough but it is quite interesting with all clinical practices. Since you get enough opportunities here to show your clinical knowledge it helps build concepts and gain knowledge and experiences.

The main reason to become a doctor is to serve the humanity. The teaching method is projector with board work type although it depends professor to professor 3 internal exams and 1 professional exam is there in every prof. There are total of 4 profs. There are many scholarships available. The academics are really good Our college have one of the best departments in West Bengal.
