I chose this college as it was the best possible college available at my rank as per my judgement. Our college is under the administrative control of West Bengal University of health sciences . The admission is strictly on the basis of NEET score.

This college is close to Kolkata without all of its traffic and disturbances. Also quite large campus area along with good patient exposure. Cutoff plays a major role of course. Kolkata colleges have a higher cutoff score. Admission is based on NEET exam score and being registered in the choice filling session of West Bengal University of health sciences. There isn’t much to do around here. Basically a town/ suburb. Lots of snakes and mosquitoes here. Largest auditorium in any state medical college in Bengal. All LTs are air conditioned and so is the library. Single rooms are available second year onwards. Cheap and tasty food available in the hostel canteen. But there’s no college fests or programmes. Transportation by trains is seamlessly easy.

I choose this college due to various reasons like.. The overall infrastructure is well developed. Academic part is well organized. All the teachers and Professors are very much professional and student friendly. Labs are neat and clean. Environment is much good. Surroundings are very much greenly. Seniors are cooperative.

This college takes admission from the NEET UG examination and cut off of the UR category generally goes about AIR 18K-20K. Academics are very good in this college. Attendance must be above 75% to appear in the final examination. Professors are very polite and helpful students to better understand. They even clear doubts in the departments if that is not possible in the class. Library facilities are very good in this Lecture theatres are big and well decorated. College premises are separated from hospital premises and very well maintained. This college also offers BSc nursing, Paramedical and Pharmacy courses. There are some political issues inside the college which may create some nuisance in the academic process.

The college is well-ranked in state and I got locked in this college during counseling. The college is well-built and it is the only Government Medical College in the Nadia district. The patient flow is good enough and the seniors are very supportive.

I live in kalyani so the distance is nearly about 1.4km from my house.The admission process is smooth and the administration is really helpful. There is only one exam to crack and that is neet. Other than that all is good.
