What I Liked

I like the only teachers in college the best.

What I didn’t like

The coating here is very bad, not enough for a student to do all the practicals, so I find it the worst.

Placement Experience:

Our college does not have any paid placements like that but we take placements from other departments for placements but there are no placements from our department i.e. Microbiology Department.The placement of this subject we have done is very good.

Internships Opportunities:

We don't have an internship program, but there are offers for internship programs from various colleges. You can enroll in them and save money. The internships are 7 to 30 days long. Currently, I am in my second year.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good in our college in tech and nontech fields .Most companies like Accenture, tcs , wipro , sentient geeks etc provide us opportunity to get high paying jobs in industries. Minimum students are getting those jobs .

What I Liked

I liked the environment of this college. The nature spirit is good.
The flower plants of different types attract me more.

What I didn’t like

The parking area is low. If anyone takes a car, then he have to face trouble to park it.
The canteen food needs to be hygenic and with some lower prices.

Placement Experience:

Our college provide placement opportunities. But only for some departments. Big companies like TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO comes here to recruit students. Almost 40-50% students got selected every year. Internship opportunities are also provided to them.

Internships Opportunities:

No. As my department doesn't provide any types of internship opportunities. But some departments like BCA gets it. Doesn't know the actual stipend provided to them. Butas per the rumors it stands between 15k-18k

A happy ending college life

What I Liked

I really enjoy my college life . Here the teachers are so supportive with me . They help me in everything. The department are good enough for me to complete my bsc course.
As the senior and junior are all behaved friendly with each other so campus life is so greatful ... All supports you in any case .

Placement Experience:

Many IT and Non IT companies come to our college like Assenture , Sentient Geek , Cognizant, Wipro , TCS etc . Minimum of 3 lakhs starting package is offered to the student and the highest it will be 5 to 7 lakhs per annum.

All about my college life

What I Liked

The nature of the campus is so pleasant. We sit under the trees in the free time and gets relaxed. The view of the nature gets me stress free.
My department teachers is the 2nd liked thing by me. They are so frank and comfortable towards us.

What I didn’t like

The washroom is not clean enough. It smells bad all the time. Needs to be cleaned frequently.
Some teachers of other department have some serious issues. They have lot of ego. They never treat students nicely. They think that they are the god. But they are not.

Placement Experience:

No we don't get any placements opportunities for our department. But I've heard a few times that the BCA department provides placements and job opportunities. Top companies like TCS, wipro, INFOSYS Etc. Visits our college for recruitments.

Internships Opportunities:

No we don't get internships in our department. But other departments gets it and I am not sure about them. In my knowledge no internships are provided from our college. And no internships mean no stipend.

Midnapore City College - all Pros & Cons

What I Liked

Dedicated library room. This college has a dedicated library room where the students can read and borrow the books from this college.
Noise free campus zone. This college campus is almost noise free hear the sound is controlled below 40 decibels.

What I didn’t like

To make a visit in principal or director room.
Give exams in the outer colleges from this campus.

Placement Experience:

As the students of English literature, when the students will complete their NER JRF, they will get a chance to perform in this college as assistant professor. Otherwise the teacher of this college provides the students extra facility to perform as professor or teacher in the outside collages.

Internships Opportunities:

No. I've not yet performed or applied for any internship as my degree is till now incomplete. As I will complete my degree program I will definitely apply for my internship from this college, and I believe that I will definitely get any chance to any colleges are institutes in our state.

An Excellent Journey of My BSc Electronics Course

What I Liked

All necessary books are available in the central library.
Lab is very good. There are computer labs and circuit labs. Due to less students (5-10), each student gets an individual computer for the computer lab, and an individual set of instruments.

What I didn’t like

In our department there are no Wi-Fi facilities.
The departmental library is too small. And there are very few books.

Placement Experience:

In my batch there are only 5 students. After completing the course 3 students doing MSc Electronics, 1 student doing MBA, and 1 one student doing MBBS from government college. Top recruiting companies are TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE etc. The average package is 5 LPA.

Internships Opportunities:

No, I am not opted for any internship. There are no internship program offered by any company. In Bsc no one do internship in our department. There are no opportunities available with Midnapore College.

All about Computer Science Department Of Midnapore College

What I Liked

The college is a reputated college. Cs department is not very good.
The campus is very good, clean and well organized.

What I didn’t like

The cs department is not good. Teaching faculties are not so good.
There is not any digital or network lab in cs department.

Placement Experience:

The campussing is happens. I heared , in the time of our seniors many company came for campussing. But in our time only 2 company came. Accenture came for campussing in 2023. From cs department 2 students get placed.

Internships Opportunities:

No, I don't opted for any internship. The department not helped to grow skills and don't organize any pre placement training. So, we don't opted for any internship. You have to find own to opted for interndhip.

College, infrastructure , faculty, campus life are not good. So dislike option is not granted.

Placement Experience:

The placements and job opportunities is not bad,but my personal opinion is so many placement are not held. The eligibility criteria for placement is not supply for previous semester. Master degree is the next plan after getting the degree.

Internships Opportunities:

No, our college no opted for any offline internship. Accenture, Wipro are the companies and roles offered under internship with stipend. Project and clarify the tasks.

Facts of Midnapore College

What I Liked

College campus is wide and overall good.
Campus is also good, library, reading room is there.

Placement Experience:

Few companies visit in our college. Like Accenture, Wipro, cognigent etc. Eligible candidates are hired. Most of us are unemployed. Total 5 students got placement within 70 students. After getting the degree I want to do msc.
