- Dedicated library room. This college has a dedicated library room where the students can read and borrow the books from this college.
- Noise free campus zone. This college campus is almost noise free hear the sound is controlled below 40 decibels.
Dislikes
- To make a visit in principal or director room.
- Give exams in the outer colleges from this campus.
Remarks :
The most specific reason for my choosing of this college absence of college Union. Being a private college it has no college Union as well as it's teacher faculty is almost good from all the other colleges in around this. The masters is basically a teacher based topic, so after seeing the faculty of this college I have chosen this one.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The masters in English literature is basically one step forward towards your curriculum activity goals. It also help student to make a thesis paper which will help them in their future higher studies. Other topics like field survey, critical analysis will give the students another perspective, angle of view point to analysis any subject matter.
Internships Opportunities :
No. I've not yet performed or applied for any internship as my degree is till now incomplete. As I will complete my degree program I will definitely apply for my internship from this college, and I believe that I will definitely get any chance to any colleges are institutes in our state.
Placement Experience :
As the students of English literature, when the students will complete their NER JRF, they will get a chance to perform in this college as assistant professor. Otherwise the teacher of this college provides the students extra facility to perform as professor or teacher in the outside collages.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
During Admission the college takes almost ?10300. After that for a registration it takes 2000 Rs. This continues till the last semester, where we have to face 4 semesters. Our college has facility of scholarships like SVMCM, Kanyashree, National scholarship portal, etc. Which covers almost all the tuition fees of a student.
Campus Life :
This college conducts annual fest to entertain all its students. Also this college conducts annual Sports which gives the students extra interest towards the game Sports. Sports make a person disciplined. So it can be easily said that this college provides students a proper discipline. The most specifically it can be said that the college doesn't allow any narcotics activity within their compass. Also this campus is plastic free zone.
Hostel Facilities :
This college has no residential hostel but this college has canteen. And the quality of the canteen food is almost good, hygienic. Most of the students lunch here everyday. From all the survey from the students, it is clear that the food of this canteens are healthy for health.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
