- All necessary books are available in the central library.
- Lab is very good. There are computer labs and circuit labs. Due to less students (5-10), each student gets an individual computer for the computer lab, and an individual set of instruments.
Dislikes
- In our department there are no Wi-Fi facilities.
- The departmental library is too small. And there are very few books.
Remarks :
I passed HS in 2020. I want to do engeneering. But due to COVID I can't give entrance exam. And I don't want to lose year for next year entrance exam. So I decide to complete BSc and MSc Electronics and then MTech. Then I found Midnapore College offering BSc Electronics course. And that's how I take addmission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Teachers are very helpful and friendly. In my opinion the BSc Electronics course does not make students industry ready. But students can easily get IT company jobs. The Course Curriculum is similar to NET and GATE ECE syllabus. So there are very good opportunities for higher studies. Semester exams are normal. But to appear in the semester exam one must have 75% attendance otherwise no chance to appear. The pass percentage is almost 100%.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I am not opted for any internship. There are no internship program offered by any company. In Bsc no one do internship in our department. There are no opportunities available with Midnapore College.
Placement Experience :
In my batch there are only 5 students. After completing the course 3 students doing MSc Electronics, 1 student doing MBA, and 1 one student doing MBBS from government college. Top recruiting companies are TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE etc. The average package is 5 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For 1st Sem 4,500. For 2nd Sem 3,700. For 3rd Sem 3,950. For 4th Sem 3,700. For 5th Sem 3,950. For 6th Sem 3,750. Fees structure may vary little bit every year. The fees are same for all categories. Students can get SVMCM scholarship of 18,000 per year during this course.
Campus Life :
There are computer labs and circuit labs. Due to less students (5-10), each student gets an individual computer for the computer lab, and an individual set of instruments. So each student has a very good chance to learn all the practical in hand instead of doing practical in a group. The departmental library is too small but all necessary books are available in the central library. There is one canteen inside the campus and the food quality is average. A big playground is available.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
