How To Get Admission in Computer Science and Engineering?

Many universities follow an entrance-based admission process whereas few universities give admission to the candidates on the basis of their JEE Main 2021 score. The general admission process for Computer Science and Engineering is given below:

  • The candidates are required to register for the entrance exam on https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ by giving their personal details like email address, mobile number, and password after which a login ID will be generated.
  • After the candidates have registered they are required to create a login id, and they have to fill up the online application form by providing all necessary details
  • The candidates have to upload all necessary documents such as a photograph, signature, id proof, Class 10 and 12 certificates, etc as they are required for verification
  • Next, the candidates are asked to pay the application fee using any mode of payment like a Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
  • After paying the application fee, the candidates are required to save the application form or download it
  • The JEE Main admit card is issued to the students 1-2 weeks prior to the exam.
  • The candidates have to take the entrance test and qualify it to seek admission.
  • At last, the results of the entrance test are released for the candidates. Based on scores and ranks, counselling for admissions is conducted by a respective national or state authority. Few colleges conduct their own counselling.

Finally, only the candidates who have qualified for the entrance exam are eligible to take part in counselling and choose their branch of study in engineering.
