MTech Eligibility
Candidates who want to go for MTech should fill up the following basic eligibility criteria, which may vary depending on the institutions, these are the foundational benchmarks ensuring that candidates possess the requisite academic background and basic aptitude for advanced study in the chosen field, here are some common eligibility criteria
- Candidates should be either in 3rd year or higher years of any undergraduate degree program.
- Candidates who graduate must have completed their Bachelor’s degree (of at least three years duration) in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Architecture/ Humanities.
- Candidates who have completed their M.Sc degree in domains like Science, Maths, Statistics, Computer, or any other equivalent subject are eligible to apply.
- A valid GATE score is mandatory for any candidate to apply for any MTech college.
- Although writing GATE candidates do not require any minimum Btech percentage, for admission in IITs and NITs, students must secure a minimum 60% or equivalent CGPA in their Undergraduate.
- The GATE Score is valid up to years from the date of issue of the results.
