The COMEDK UGET 2025 counselling registration window is open from June 9, 2025 (4 PM), to June 18, 2025 (2 PM), following the declaration of results. The counselling process will be conducted in three rounds, comprising choice filling, mock allotment, final allotment, and seat confirmation.

The COMEDK UGET result was officially declared on June 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM on the official website — comedk.org.

Over 190 engineering colleges across Karnataka participate in the COMEDK UGET counselling, offering more than 20,000 engineering seats. Branches such as Computer Science (CSE), Electronics and Communication (ECE), and Information Science (ISE) are the most sought-after and typically fill up during the early rounds of seat allotment.

Counselling Registration and Fees

The counselling registration fee for General category candidates is expected to be ₹2,000 (non-refundable), payable at the time of registration. In addition to this, candidates must pay the applicable tuition fees upon confirming their seat — which varies depending on the college and course.

Required Documents for Verification

Candidates must upload the following documents during the document verification phase:

• COMEDK UGET 2025 Rank Card

• Class 10th and 12th Mark Sheets

• Valid Photo ID

• Category Certificate (if applicable)

Only after successful document verification will candidates be allowed to proceed with the choice filling.

In the 2024 counselling session, over 96,000 candidates participated, with 18,500 seats being allotted. The highest scorer had a perfect score of 180/180, and most of the top 100 ranks fell between 170–180 marks.

COMEDK 2025 Counselling Process

The process of COMEDK Counselling is conducted separately for Engineering and Architecture. The candidates who qualify the COMEDK Cutoff and fulfil the required eligibility criteria for admission to Engineering and Architecture courses can participate in COMEDK Counselling 2025. The eligibility criteria for both courses differ:

• To be eligible for engineering admission candidate must have passed class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronic/ Computer Science, scoring at least 45% aggregate marks. Candidate must have studied English as one of the languages.
• For admission to Architecture candidate must have passed 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidate must have scored at least 50% marks in class 12. Admission to Architecture will be given only on the basis of NATA scores.

Online Registration

The first step is online registration for counselling. Candidates can refer to the steps given below for COMEDK counselling registration:

• Go to the official website of COMEDK and click on the ‘Login’ option.
• Log in using your credentials. Here candidates will find the link of Counselling Registration. Click on the link to proceed further.
• Check your details already filled there and make sure all the information is correct.
• After checking the details proceed to pay the non-refundable Counselling Registration Fee of Rs. 2000. On successful fee payment candidate will have to log in again for further procedure.
• Now login again and clock on ‘Upload Documents’. Upload clearly scanned documents in JPG, JPEG or PDF format. Recheck all your uploaded documents and click on the Submit option. On successful completion, your documents will be queued for verification.

Document Verification

The next step of COMEDK UGET Counselling is document verification. After successful uploading of documents candidates must frequently check their email and application form from the official website to know about the status of their document verification.

• Candidates will see the status of their document verification as ‘Documents Submitted, Resubmit, Document Resubmitted, Document Approved, Document Rejected’ according to the situation.
• Candidates whose documents have been verified successfully will be able to move further for the choice-filling procedure.

Choice Filling

In this step of counselling candidates need to fill in the choices of their preference of colleges and courses. Candidates must have a clear knowledge of colleges and the courses available so that they can fill the choices in a rational manner.

• Fill in the colleges and the branch in the order of your preference. Candidates can fill as many options as they want.
• The choices filled by candidates can be edited before saving. You can change the order, add and delete the choices of colleges.
• Candidates can not make any changes in the preference list after the last date of choice filling. After the last date, all the options filled by the candidate will be saved automatically and considered as final.
• If any candidate leaves the choice filling form blank, their form will be rejected and will not be considered further.

Mock Allotment

Candidates will be allotted the seats before the last date of choice filling submission. This is COMEDK mock allotment. It is an indicative seat allotment result and not the final one. Candidates can view the mock allotment and can change the order of their preference, add and remove choices. After this choices will be locked and submitted. No changes can be done post-mock allotment date.

COMEDK 2025 Seat Allotment

• The final seat allotment will be done based on the rank of the candidate in the exam and the choice preferences they have filled in.
• Candidates will be offered the allotment letter with the option of ‘Accept and Freeze’. Candidates can exercise their decision within the prescribed time.
• If any candidate has not been allotted the college or branch of their choice they can either Accept and Upgrade i.e accept the current allotment and participate in the next round for further upgradation or they can Reject and Upgrade i.e reject the current allotment and participate in the next round for upgradation. This does not assure candidates will get the college of their choice but does have the opportunity that they might get a higher choice.
• Candidate must report at the allotted institute and pay the Seat Acceptance Fee to secure their admission.
