Better MICAT performance is considered when you take both attempts. Section-wise criteria and normalisation apply. Accepting one programme offer gives up the other merit-list places.
For FPM, confirm the external-test requirement with admissions@micamail.in: the general MICAT-only chart and detailed FPM selection description differ.
Yes. Register and pay separately for both attempts. MICA considers the better MICAT performance for the applicable programme; appearing twice does not mean that your two raw scores are added together.
No. PGDM-C, PGDM and PGCM-SM require MICAT plus at least one of CAT, XAT or GMAT. PGCM-AMC, PGCM-DMMC and CSC use MICAT followed by the programme selection process. FPM has separate research requirements and conflicting external-test guidance that should be clarified with MICA.
Yes, for the taught programmes covered by the final-year rule. Submit the institutional certificate confirming completion of degree requirements by 30 June 2027. You may join provisionally, but must submit the final marksheet and passing certificate by 31 December 2027. An application or provisional offer does not remove the 50% qualifying requirement.
MICA specifies an aggregate of all subjects shown on the marksheet for Class 10 and 12. Do not substitute a best-five percentage unless it also represents all the subjects on that marksheet.
For the 2027 PGDM-C, PGDM and PGCM-SM process, enter the XAT registration number by 30 January 2027. MICA obtains the score from XLRI. CAT and GMAT applicants update their relevant score details.
The current 2027 structure lists three aptitude areas: Divergent and Convergent Thinking, Verbal Ability, and Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation. It does not list General Awareness as a separate area.
No. Descriptive answers are typed on the computer. Practise planning and editing a response on-screen, especially when a question asks for a particular word limit or a story using every picture.
No. The official sample states that the psychometric section has no negative marking and identifies short-answer questions without negative marking. It does not establish the complete 2027 marking scheme for all question types.
No. Use it to practise question styles such as arguments, picture stories, verbal context and numerical reasoning. Its number of examples is not the announced question count for the test.
No. Section-wise criteria apply, and some programmes also require CAT/XAT/GMAT performance. PGDM may use a higher QADI cutoff because of its analytics focus. A single overall score does not replace these checks.
You may be merit-listed for more than one programme, but you must accept only one by the stated deadline. Accepting that offer gives up the other merit-list position, and the confirmed programme choice cannot be changed.
Not on its own under the listed routes. The standard three-year bachelor's route requires a subsequent two-year master's. Direct entry is for a four-year bachelor's with Honours and Research and at least 7.5/10 CGPA or 75%. The one-year master's route follows a four-year bachelor's with Honours or Research.
