The course structure for each course is different and is flexible depend upon the professor, the course is design by dividing the grades with assignment, attendace, presentation, quizes along with the mid sem and end sem exam. Their weightage carrying in overall gradeis also flexible, which makes it easy and reduces the load to score all once through exam. The faculties are very friendly and approachable except few exception, they will help you and guide you with the course or your ahead research studies.

Course: The latest curriculum is followed and updated per semester. Faculties: Knowledge of professors is so deep in their field. Academics: There is slight pressure on each individual because of the assignments, quizzes, viva, surprise tests, and many more.

I chose this course because of college. I focused on college not branch. Teacher here are phd and done PhD in foreign universities and they are good at their work except some courses. There are term exams in every 2 months and they are between hard and medium.

IIT Gandhinagar offers a well-rounded BTech program that emphasizes both academic rigour and holistic development. For BTech students IIT GN has a flagship 4 weeks foundation program which will introduce you to all the extra-curricular skills like dancing, sports, acting and values for your future career, also every student has to complete fours semesters of PE course in order to graduate. All the faculty at IIT GN are PHDs from top indian and foreign universities and have very deep grasp of their domain. Faculty here are very friendly and student can easily interact with them to clear their queries. IIT GN follows a two-exam system, but the course policy mostly depends on the instructor.

As I am in the first year and there is a option to change your branch. So, at present all the students of first year have to study same subjects. And according to my opinion academic and curriculum is little different from other colleges. But the faculties are very open to solve our doubt and to interact with us.

All faculty members at IITGN are very polite, helpful, knowledgeable and inspires student to learn and grow. They have office hours for students so that they can ask their doubts personally without any hesitation. But the number of mathematics faculty members are lesser as compared with other IITs. that's why they offer less number of elective subjects. The level of courses are moderate to hard. And pass percentage is depend on the instructor. And in one sem we have two exam and number of quizes and assignments depending upon instructor.

I chose the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering program because I was particularly interested in CSE. The faculties at IIT Gandhinagar are really good, they are highly qualified and have a deep knowledge of their subject. Students are encouraged to take up research projects under professors which is very helpful for students who want to make career in academia. There are two exams per semester i.e. mid-semester exams and end-semester exams.

The tu fees are 100000 and 46580 for mess, hostel and other expenses per semester. I avail one external scholarship called Top Class Education for SC students under NSP.

I have chosen Chemical Engineering because it resonates deeply with my passion with chemistry and mathematics. I am excited about the opportunity to make a positive impact on society and the environment through innovative solutions. Faculty here are some new professors who have completed PhD and also some are researchers and renowned professors. The chemical courses are somewhat easy compared to any other Btech courses also the faculty was too friendly. There will be one mid-sem and one end-sem examination, which will be followed by quizzes in a semester. The difficulty level was moderate to tough. If we attend the classes regularly we can attempt the question paper. Also here attendance matters very much. Every student should maintain 90% attendance throughout the course. It also has marks that will be added to the final score. Also there is finacial support baased on Income, and also many scholarships based on merit. I chose mechanical as I've always been interested in cars and other things related to mechanical. The mechanical courses are considered the toughest due to the sheer amount of work in the course, and the faculty is tricky to deal with as they find different ways to challenge the students.
